If there are so few doing it, then why does there need to be a cap? You can just be alerted that someone is passing 30, go check to see if they’re cheating, and if so ban if not leave them alone. I mean, it’s so very few after all, shouldn’t cost much. When did Blizzard start phoning it in, in the laziest way possible?

There has to be artificial limits put in game because people don’t have lives anymore, and they equate real life success with success in a video game.
Because of this they spend unhealthy amounts of time online, and prove to be an absolute cancer in the gaming community. Running the AH completely with multiboxed accounts farming 20 hours a day is bad for the game, and if there weren’t limits… this is what people will, and HAVE BEEN doing.
Would you like to remove raid caps too?

Raid caps are fine. Instance caps aren’t. You go play how you like, I want to play the way I’ve been paying for since August.

Why do people hate botting so much?
Because bots run predictive programming that allow them to continuously farm 24/7 that no real person can possibly match.
Why do we need instance lockouts?
Because certain players behave like robots and farm 24/7 that no normal gamer can match.

So much cry from the no lifers go outside sometime. I don’t care about bots but the tears of the no lifers alone was worth the change. You guys already cost blizzard more than your sub cost with your constant load in the sever never logging off you should be able to pay blizzard double per account to remove your lock in ok with that. Pay for the privilege of never logging off.

This dorf chick legit told a dude his job wasn’t real in another post because he had time to play WoW while sitting in a guard shack on a mountain all night. These people are cancer, this whole thing has brought out the worst kinds of people telling others how they should live their life because they are simping for blizzard so hard.

You’re obviously not a subject matter expert on server costs. Server resources are far cheaper today than they were back in vanilla. I would imagine costs far less than a dollar a month to support someone with 100% playtime but thank you for your “expert” analysis.

No for real you need to get a life if you are upset you can’t spend all day playing WoW you have a problem no different than a druggy or alcoholic they have to get that fix every day all the time. Everything in moderation my good friend even world of Warcraft ;).

No friend, I am not upset but I do feel pity for you. I’m just trying to have a conversation about the cap while at work. You have assumptions about how people play this game that are off. I hope you learn to have some empathy for your fellow players one day.
I mean that makes sense why would you be in the forum when you could be playing. Looks like you really have a problem if you can’t stay away even when you are working. Maybe you should have a hard think about your life.

Another false assumption, my character is currently logged in and playing. I’m just thankful to have a job that enables me to play games while at work. Thank you for your concern about my well being though but I can assure you I have a proper work/life/game balance.
