I was reading the book from blizzard about the origins of this game and apparently sargeras had so much size that he was able to pretty much solo the entire legion himself a long with a little help from Aggramar.
Until he released them and then cause he was basically carrying the whole pantheon on his back he just aoe 1 shotted all of them. He was just tired of em.
So overall just a absolute force of nature. So why not just release him and let him solo them again?
Youre not getting the idea that Blizzard is trying to convey about the six cosmic forces. None of them are good. None of them are bad. It is illogical to place them within mortal moral codes and parameters because they don’t think or operate on the same level as us. Each one is trying to win the eternal war to become mightier than all the rest. The titans are trying to make Order the strongest of tue six cosmic forces and they do what they must to try and achieve that goal. It isn’t maliciousness it is their mission. And when we get in the way of it it’s a problem. It was a problem for disorder. It was a problem for death. It has been and continues to be a problem for tue void. And they retaliate accordingly.
Also Sargeras was able to whoop tue crap out of his brothers and sister because he used disorder(fel) magic against them. They are beings of Order therefore they couldn’t fight back when their brother used the magic of their cosmic opposite against them l
And don’t forget there are far more powerful beings than Titans and Old Gods out there, but the Titans subjugated the entire universe under their vision of Order no matter the cost. They even wiped out entire worlds for it. Sargeras likely saw this was a problem and wouldn’t hold back the Void and other potential threats, perhaps the Jailer saw this as well and thought we couldn’t change things.
I’d bet Azeroth is a descendent of the First Ones. And if anyone could set things back on track and end this Saga why not her?
I think Blizz is trying to do a Shadowbringer/Endwalker type story wrap up.
Aggramar isnt “bad” either. Honestly it’s Amanthul who is orchestrating all of this and since he’s the leader and apparently first titan they dare not oppose him.
I have a feeling that amanthul, Khaz, and norg are the baddies while Ag, Gol, and Eyonar, are the good ones or will at least side with us. Meanwhile sargeras is a wildcard.
Oh and that other titan that hearthstone introduced is probably another wildcard
No bad no good. Sargeras seems bad to US as mortals but his crusade was totally justified in his mind. He didn’t want to do it he felt he HAD to do it because of lies fed to him by Sire Denathrius’s dread lords.
