Mechadruids make perfect sense to me, and it even opens up some interesting tension and dialogue within the druidic circles about the very nature of life versus artifice. After all, metals are entirely natural in their origin, is it the acquisition, shaping, or application that makes it unnatural? Just because it’s replacing flesh doesn’t make it any less evolution, and I think it would be a worthy debate to have.
Secondly, Demon Hunters are elf-only because Illidan didn’t bother trying with the other races. Even then, Demon Hunters can be reverse-engineered, because they started as non-Demon Hunters and were trained and augmented. Would it be dangerous? Incredibly, you’d probably lose a ton of lives to the process. The PC however would be one of the success stories of the program.
I pretty much totally agree. I can totally see Mechagnomes seeing the benefits of animal forms and augmenting their bodies to mimic them. I dont care for Mechagnomes at all, but I think it would be really cool if they spent a decent amount of development time to actually flesh out mecha druids. Mechanical animal forms, different types of laser for boomkin , healing beams and such. I think it would actually be pretty awesome.
And demons are still very much around. We essentially dismantled the Burning Legion, but we can still get demons and more races could be taught by the current demon hunters. Like you said, many would probably die, but having Highmountain Demon Hunters would be so cool
I like the idea of Gnomes and Mechagnomes finding their link to the Emerald Dream through Freya, and maybe Mimiron, to give us a spin on Druids to show us the Titans’ vision of nature being nice and orderly.
Also, I just like that their animal forms would be really cool, Beast Wars style robotic animals.
I wouldnt even mind Mechagnomes doing a whole Transformers kinda thing. Goblin Shaman ‘bribe’ the elementals in order to work with them, and we’ve broken away from ONLY cats, bears, etc for forms.
Would be silly, but would be fun.
The ‘color’ choices can just be different coats of paint on a silver frame.
if youre talking about Grim Totem mercenaries i dont see them having a stealth ability on wowhead, as a matter of fact their abilities are more akin to a warrior. pummel, throw etc.
Grim Totem bandits have disarm and kick, no stealth
i dont see stealth as one of their abilities. Alright you win, Tauren can be “rogues” but they are restricted from using stealth and vanish as that would be silly.
