Ignore system needs alot of work, I agree. It really doesn’t ignore them. That’s kinda a problem.
I honestly do not want to bother someone who puts me on ignore. Let it be so we do not see each other anymore. Ez clap.

Honestly, if you put someone on ignore you shouldn’t even see the message that they posted and it is hidden. After all you made the decision that you didn’t want to engage with them.

From my experience, the people that are constantly “ignoring” people (ignoring is in quotes for a specific reason) are usually so desperate for attention that they just can’t wait to let people know, including the person they are “ignoring” that they are putting said person on ignore.
Probably. The two most annoying ppl I have ever met on the forums let me know they were putting me on ignore. One chick said she is Preggo. I wanted to say men should never ugh in crazy. But, Aight, bye! And, thank you!
Now, I sometimes mention I am muting a thread bc I wanted to respond once but then also announce I’m muting. I wonder if that is just as lame as the ppl saying they’re putting you on ignore?

Do players use alts in forum? I just stick to this avatar. If someone likes or dislikes me they should know who is posting. Too complicated changing to an alt to make a point if you ask me. Not everyone is going to like someone and I can be a hard pill to swallow. I try not to be but it is what it is.
Don’t worry about it. If someone can’t cope with an opposing viewpoint, and must ignore everything you say, it’s their weakness to deal with.
I’ve bumped heads with you in the past, but it doesn’t lessen my opinion of you as a person. We just didn’t see eye to eye on a topic. However, we have also been on the same side on other topics. But I’ve never seen you say anything worthy of being ignored, or if we call it by another name, Canceled.

I have many people blocked.
What it does is it collapses down their posts (their comments, not their OPs). You can still see it, if you uncollapse it (like a buried reported post, but these are blocked posts).
I have the OP blocked, and their body just reads “ignored content”. Unless somebody quotes the OP, I can’t read their OP 'cause it’s not a collapsed post.
I came here to Mute it, so I wouldn’t have this thread, in my feed.
That being said, people who you have blocked can still see your posts and even heart it. You just won’t be notified of it. Seeing who hearted you, if you blocked one of them, their icon won’t appear, so you won’t know which blocked person hearted you, unless you only have one person blocked.
The only thing I like Reddit for over Blizz’s forums is the blocking system. If somebody has you blocked, you cannot respond to them. I can’t even see the posts of the people I’ve blocked because it shows up as “deleted”. I can’t respond to it, either. However, Reddit is a little buggy with it. Sometimes it’ll just collapse it, like here, but you still can’t respond. People who blocked you, you won’t know, unless you can’t respond to them.
