If Solo community can get delves - Mythic + should get solo Que tech

I think he is saying that it doesn’t work after 50% of the max timer has already happened. Which I personally haven’t tried. All my abandons have happened in the first ~10 mins

If that vote fails. You need to wait for 3 min.

Good logic. Glad they added that.

Oh, interesting.

Did not know that was a thing. I’ll have to check if I ever get into a situation where it’s necessary. Have yet to be held hostage lol

No.

They do. It’s called lfg. You should try it.

The mythic+ solo queue tech is heroic dungeons because every time queued content is hard it cannot be done since there is nothing to save you from the worst of the worst in this game.

Now to get back on topic, I don’t really care either way. Sure solo queue could help some people do content they can’t/don’t do now. But knowing Blizz, there’s an easy way to see how well that would be implemented.

List your own key, set min IO to ~100-200 below yours, invite the first people that queue for each slot and run it. Success will vary

How people envision this working?

Like you solo queue, then you’re put inside the dungeon and the key starts automatically?
That is the only way it will work.

If it is just an automated matchmaking, then what happens is: people will see who they are grouped with, and if they don’t like, they’ll leave the group.

:dracthyr_hehe_animated:

People think they’ll get into easy +10s, but they’ll probably be stuck doing +5s after bricking so many lololol.

or something along those lines.

People who want this system are likely the problem.

Game determines what key level you’re eligible and places you into a key of that level. Players don’t get to choose.

They could also just use a ranking system like gold, silver platinum just exactly like how overwatch has and you can put gold tier one gold tier to gold tier 3 you don’t have to have this 2500 2699 2782. What is this?

Because because players are anyways queueing with other players who are plus -200 300 I/O anyways, so why don’t we just segregate them into a cheer system like gold tier 1 tier 233 all of this would just be solved

I mean I guess? But they’re kind of the same thing, IO score is just more specific. Behind all those Gold 3/Plat 2 rankings is a specific number of your rating, you just don’t see it

No, it won’t be solved because now you’re stuck in a +5 instead of where you think you belong, in a +10.

League rank can go down.

Iron 4 exists.

Sure yeah I is more specific but you’re not really just playing with your exact io person you’re playing plus -2 300 IO anyways so what difference does it matter if we just add a tier 1,2 and 3 just to make it more clear and efficient rather than having multiple numbers Beside a character name like it is 2012

Yea… no.

To change the representation of a rating from a number to say… Platinum 4 needlessly… just why?

Because top 0.1% title exists. You have to be able to see your rating to make sure you can get above the cutoff. I know, “shouldn’t cater to the top 0.1%” but it’s an existing system that I don’t see them taking away

Sure, we can just add a mythic plus leaderboard to have a look at the players exact rating like if if a player is point one percent away, he should be able to see where he’s standing while PVP has this overwatch PVP has this and that’s far more competitive game then plus

Solo queue would be a bandaid on a buckshot wound.
The actual problem is the trinity system - tank / heal / dps - which could only be solved by fundamentally changing how the game works.
Even weighting things massively in favor of tanks doesn’t help the issue, it just gives you reason to fill your raid / group with tanks instead of either of the other roles.

Yeah that could work, but really why would they do that? There’s not really any benefit to changing it

I mean for the purpose of grouping people of similar skill …

A hypothetical queue system would just be automating what players already do manually.

I’m up for deleting tanks from the game and let it be part of what everyone can do.
