I can’t endlessly grind M+, and I can’t endlessly grind Conquest. I have a job and my mother no longer pays for my WoW subscription (or anything else in my life because I’m an adult). What I loathe about the “character progression” argument is that PvE progression is not the same as PvP progression. Your desire to ‘gear up’ to slay bigger dragons is a PvE mentality. PvP progression is rating. It’s climbing the ladders and getting titles and/or mounts. It’s about being better than other players, not about being better than the boss that dropped your weapon.
PvE mentality in the development of PvP is what has been killing PvP forever. And since Ion is a hardcore dragonslayer, he takes when people say “we want PvE style progression in PvP!” to heart.
What I’m trying to say is get that disgusting notion out of your head because PvP is about competition, not making your character dump out bigger numbers across your screen.
