Letâs say the moon (Elune) were lighter than Azeroth and at a distance that that weight wouldnât be effective it could still have an influence but not as impactful enough for mass destruction.
Even today in our reality we are still searching how the dinosaurs went extinct. If we on Azeroth were to go that way we would do the same thing digging up the past because all of it was erased . How are we to know if Azeroth wasnât a reformation of what once was. It is and it isnât?

No, because the moon is tidally locked to the earth. Which means the one face is always pointing towards the earth. In other words, the moon spins 1 time for every orbit around the earth it completes. If the earth was tidally locked to the moon, the position of the moon in the sky would never change.
Ok,so youâre saying azeroth doesnât move then so we canât see the other side?? Then how does the sun(day time does exist)rises and set? (we do have a night).

Because the moon is tidally locked to the earth, the moon rotates once a month.
As the moon orbits the earth it is turning so the same face of the moon is always visible.
Maybe if Night Elves hired Gnomes to build a tractor beam to bring the Moon closer to Azeroth, it could appear to be the same size.
Then again itâll probably bring about a âCataclysmâ worse than what Deathwing bought 
Lol, of course ,I do when an object is locked so to not have a rotation. It always faces the dominate object therefore only see one side.
Well as I elaborated more in the post. The moon is tidally locked to the earth, earth not tidally locked to anything. Itâs why the earth spins once a day, and the moon spins once a month.
The moon is not big enough to tidally lock the earth to it.
Night Elves would not presume that anything of Elune would need enhancing. And in most religions, believers who have the arrogance to find their dieties to be lacking usually get their comeuppance.
Ok,then if the blue child where the size of Azeroth what would happen? Considering size and mass ? I would guess it depends on the mass itâs itâs made from even though the effect would be known.
I mean, if you made either moon on Azeroth the size of Azeroth, they would tidally lock Azeroth 2 it, assuming itâs mass also increased⊠It would also have some weird effects on the orbits and likely eventually cause all 3 bodies to collide.
This is the kicker,we donât know the orbit of the blue child as it has a ability to hide,so either Elune or the blue child can cause an destruction event if the even get off course. But this is fantasy these thing donât happen even if science can prove it would.
