If I could delete one thing in this game…

Fine, just remove the doorway. The ramp can stay, that would be funnier. Mages could still get in and out!

They’re a pretty long-lived UI tradition in video games.

I understand plenty of people dislike them, but I don’t think they exist out of laziness.

If there was one thing i could delete from the game…

It would be the “dazed” effect, the anger i get every time i get that effect is beyond infuriating

It would’ve been a way cooler class fantasy if while exploring the dragon isles we found a secret lab were there was a serum/potion/radiation/crystal etc that turned people infused people with draconic essences.

But there are tons of ideas cooler than time frozen secret mopy lizards.

Just reroll as tank.

Or use this

It still super annoying, regardless of the class and spec that i play.

I’m with the OP on pop-ups, i have said this before, but playing this game with its default settings and no addons is comparable to going onto the internet with Edge and no ad blocking extensions. It’s just awful, constant pop-ups, talking heads, quests getting rammed into my quest log even when i say no etc.

Also, the toasts that pop up in the middle of the screen for various things like loot, completing objectives, or simply entering a new area can be super annoying, like why can i not target enemies behind them? Why do i have to dismiss them first? they get in the way of combat activities and we should be able to disable them completely or perhaps have a setting where we can make them translucent?

Does evoker whos name starts with S and druid worgen whos name starts with D count?

The alliance. Plain and simple. It seems that is the only way for the Horde to get any attention in the story anymore.

I guess that total orc-fest of an expansion was a while ago now lol

WOD was in 2014. Now we have 2025. That is 11 years inbetween. more then half the time of the game actually existing(In Europe it launched in 2005)

Yeah, i wasn’t disagreeing, i was simply saying it was a while ago.

There’s no option to disable or mute them. That’s why I find them so annoying. If I could turn it off I’d be thrilled

I really wish it would get removed. We already have sit=crit as a combat mechanic, apply that to mounted targets and call it a day. You’re sitting and can’t take evasive moves and take extra damage as a result.

Not “Waaaah head hurty, I’m gonna climb OFF my mount and walk real slow now!”

The dazed mechanic has never made any sense to me. If I’m on a horse and I get dazed, the horse should run just fine. If the horse gets dazed, why am I slowed when I get off?

One thing that does stop it is shields though. My warlock never gets dazed because of soul leech

Also isn’t there a mount item that prevents it? I can’t remember but I thought there was

FBI OPEN UP

Yes, there is. I use it on my hunter as some sort of relief that my life is now alltogether.

Made sense to me that you get dazed as you are knocked off what ever you are riding. Imagine hitting the ground would be fairly jarring

Designing M+ around required healers in groups. M+ Groups could be 1/0/4 and then dps would be able to have good enough self-healing to keep themselves alive. Now dps self healing is nerfed to give healers something to do, and I often watch my hunter slowly dying with every defensive used well, health pot on cd, exhil and turtle and feign death on cd, because the healer is giving 0 healing.

A healer should be an option to make groups almost immortal in exchange for having only 3 dps. But I think a totally viable comp should be 1/0/4 like you could get away with for one of the best M+ seasons ever DF season 4. I also think healers should have infinite mana in M+ and, if they have good enough gear, do essentially infinite on-demand HPS, only in M+, because you can’t win M+ (beat the timer) by having too much healing and unlike raid/pvp they’re the only healer involved so it doesn’t matter if they’re extremely overpowered at keeping their teammates alive.

Few tank or dps players mind being completely self-sufficient in terms of keeping themselves alive and staying alive in M+. It would be significantly more fun for them and there would be more skill expression in keeping yourself alive. Also, groups with good skill can 2 and 3 chest keys more consistently by playing with a 1/0/4 comp which would be much riskier. However base M+ would still be tuned around 1/1/3 with a good healer and good dps mostly 1/2 chesting the keys. The majority of people who want healers in M+ are healers or people who want to make a lot of mistakes and have someone else fix it, which healers can’t actually do because the health pools are so low anyway.

Lorewalker Cho. Totally played me at the top of a mountain. Wouldn’t miss him 1 sec.
