Yeah in their eyes they got anshe and musha.

I don’t pay it personally and neither does the hero talents literally based off the sun (herald of the sun) .

Whereas ones based off the moon make it explicit that it’s Elune.

So it’s likely just Tauren beliefs rather than actual evidence of a brother she has

My imagination keeps wanting to put Elune in the Emerald Dream as part of an as-yet unmet mirror pantheon to the leaders we met in the Shadowlands … but that’s probably over-doing the search for symmetry and pattern.

I think I prefer the idea that “sister” is merely a term of affection between cosmic entities of different realms that have discovered each other and built a friendly and constructive relationship over the ages.

Technically all Gods of the Warcraft Universe are “siblings” because they were all created by the First Ones.

It’s an extrapolation. The wording is vague so I usually don’t tread on the interpretation either way.

The fact that all pantheons were created by the first ones is confirmed from Zereth Mortis.

The implied romance between Eonar and Elune comes from Dragonflight.
