I don’t see flying, transmog, LFR, or anything else. Do you? Nope.

Give it time.

yup they will slip down and enable CE items in BC and Wrath next, there is the slope!

I for one cannot wait to see al the 2d cardboard cutouts in the world!

I’m not salty. I’m worried. And when a TBC server is released I’ll get my CE pet…and I shouldn’t. I bought that for a different game. A game that still exists. I have access to that item in the game I bought it for.

What is this ‘earned outside the game’ nonsense? You can buy a level boosts, pets, mounts, all kinds of services outside the game. What’s your point?

Worried about what? The CE pets were in those expansions, seems hypocritical to say “everything from 1.1 -1.1.2 is ok/on the table EXCEPT for…”

there is ZERO to be worried about, you are just making something an issue that it isn’t.

Exactly what it says. We’ve discussed this for over year. Decision is made.

Boom. This.

Lots of things were in 1.1-1.12 that aren’t in Classic. So Blizz just made an arbitrary choice here. And worse yet this isn’t universal content, or a game feature. This is items that select players unlocked. All the semantics in the world you try to employ doesn’t change the fact that items you got for one game are being linked to another. That’s just a fact.

But…that’s the decision the devs have made, and they’re not going to change their minds. So it is what it is. No point in discussing it further.

Nope. They said they discussed it, including READING THE FORUMS.

Doesnt matter they did exist in Vanilla, so by the “everything from 1.1 yo 1.12 is ok” it is fine.

They did a specific thing that has zero impact on anything other than itself.

Nothing is linked, they would have had to enable collections to link, these items will just get exist in 2 places. It is no different than a CE having digital items across multiple titles.

As i continue to say, your fears are unfounded.

I just realized - I wonder if Clion is furious about this. Remember how he was all in my face that this would never happen?

Dont remember him on this issue. Hope he is doing ok, whatever he is doing, had lots of passion for sure:grinning:

This. 100% this. I cannot see why anyone would oppose Murky or the CE pets.

We have confirmation on the CE pets, now i desperately hope we can get some confirmation by Blizz that Murky will join the party in Classic too. He was part of the experience, he’s in the code already, and there’s so few of us with Murky left that to even see one is like finding Bigfoot.

Blizzard, can we plz get a blue confirmation about Murky? The CE pets are here, so should Murky. PLZ <3.

Regardless, i’m appreciative of classic coming back. I’ve waited so long

Did some soul searching. As much as I talk about the benefits of exclusivity, I can’t very well complain about the ‘fairness’ of players having items that others will never acquire. As far as Blizz continuing to link items between the two games, I just have to have faith that the devs don’t let that happen. I can appreciate them rewarding those who were loyal from the very start, and I hope it ends at that. So this isn’t a big deal.

Enjoy your pets.

I really hope you’re trolling. If you are, 10/10 people love that slippery slope.

I think people should get their murkys, they’re authentic, even if it means they have to come up with the ticket and put the code in again (which would suck for some, but that’s one way of meeting halfway on the argument).

I honestly can’t see them just leaving murky out of the game, and I can’t see how it’d be fair or fun to the people who got him the first time around to allow others to have him. So just give the murkys to their original owners already. It can’t be hard to do, especially with your retail account directly linked to your classic account. Each person who had one has to talk to an npc, and gets it mailed just once. Problem solved.

To not have Murky in the game would be a change, just saying. He’ll always be my favorite pet I’ll never ever have, it’ll just be fun to see one again, if any.

Bro,i appreciate your care over the integrity of the game, and if they do what you fear ,i’ll be right there with you.

Thank you very much. There aren’t many Murky owners left, but i really really hope Blizzard lets Murky join the CE pets in WoW classic.

He was part of Vanilla, he’s in the classic code already and it affects all of like 50 people in wow classic.

Plz blizz; give us a thumbs up on Murky! He belongs in classic too!

I’m super passionate about this idea. It’s Blizzards promise to not include a cash shop for cosmetics.

By Blizz allowing only Veteran players with old CE/TCG codes incorporated into their live WoW account, will stop them from reselling all these items in a ingame cash shop, store mounts, etc
