I cloned my main when TBC was released, not knowing if I would ever play on era again. Here I am playing solely on era. Now I wish I had cloned a couple of my other characters. 1: I had a decked out level 19 human rogue, with almost all BIS. I would bring that character back. 2: I had one character in the mid 40s that I would definitely clone.
Who would you be bringing back to the game?
I made the decision to keep some in vanilla, and the others were automatically progressed and are sitting in BC. I’ve barely played any of them. So, I wouldn’t clone any, I feel like I’ve moved on.

My gnome mage is the only character I have macro’s of /bye, /lol, /no. and I spam the hell out of them. =)
I just want my Fing mage on my 2nd account so i can port myself around and give myself food and water.
She was in level 60 quest gear but idc, she was a great personal vending machine
My main, as he was the only one I did bring forward to TBCclassic. He was not even level 60, but I still miss him in Era.
If Cata ever rolls around, I will be very sad - I would so like an Era server for Wrath Classic too. I cannot bear to think of all the world, and the gameplay ruined once more.

But I just feel so down seeing Cata looming in the horizon, that I lost all interest in Wrath.

I had an lock with SL and a HWL shaman that i didnt manage to clone so definitely those two. Id like to get back on the logs leaderboards for era. They had UDC which is situational BiS and you cannot get that anymore. Id probably clone my 60 farming/wpvp rogue and my main bank alt too.
I cloned the four I wanted to. I probably would have said my priest if it weren’t for some nice people from here who went on the Wrath forums and shared about the cloning closing and the $5 sale.

I will say my gnome mage. I had engineering and mining maxed out but didn’t play much of TBC and have little desire to finish leveling in Wrath of the Lich King. I made a new human mage, but I liked my gnome.
My rank 12 paladin. Don’t even care about getting any gear or gold back just don’t want to grind out that honor again. Would take a naked character with the rank unlocked.
Normal and responsible person doesnt have 2000 forum posts, nobody cares about what you have to say you pleb. Cloning chars for 15$ a pop is literally outrageous considering the process costs less then a penny per character. I paid for the game twice now, been subbed all these years on two accounts bought there epic trash bundles and micro transactions and watch them put in batching, token and boost and now you want a 100$ to keep my characters on a server with population of 6ppl? The greedyness of this company is outstanding. And you triying to come in here all mighty “hey guys I paid the price look at me” moron.
I would bring back my shaman/priest/hunter/mage and a druid. About 600days /played right there. Never saw a single notification that the clone service will be going away and I play the game everyday. I dont come to forums though untill blizz pisses me off.
I lost a rogue. It had mostly green gear at level cap so the loss wasnt too great. Thats the only one I would consider.
they had announcements about the service ending on the battle net launcher
now’s the part where you say you never use the launcher, I assume.
