Then they are trolling and intentionally burying wrath pvp. I don’t really know how else to interpret it.

There is no good reason not to sell deadly for low cost and no reqs b4 point reset. The deadly gear is basically useless in pve.

I suspect there are some people with arena pts saved from bg quest/rando bg who want to buy out the deadly and give s6 a decent go. Please don’t troll these people by not doing what you did all of BC classic. Please allow them to momentarily circumvent your inane rating requirements and go into a season on equal footing.

Wrath is an add on they already did Classic. We’ve been in prog server maintenance mode for awhile now.

Yes it would. For full price they didn’t just get the gear, they got to use it to rank in the season where it was BiS. People purchasing it after season end don’t get the same value out of the purchase, ergo a price drop commensurate with the drop in value is appropriate.

“We” don’t reward incompetence. No incompetent player has a Glad mount, or an arena title, or enters the next season at a huge gear advantage.

Honestly, I do agree. I think they begrudgingly did classic because nostalrious really exposed how much easy money there was to be made.

But with how popular it became it effectively became a liability for them and their new xpac releases… so they knee cap it by removing one of its core mechanics (rdf) with illogical reasoning. This keeps the refail players away by subjecting them to old azeorth leveling. to add insult to injury we got awful buggy legion client for no good reason too.

Now, having gone off on that tangent, I do hope they sell deadly for low cost and no reqs b4 point reset.

People might “gear” with pvp gear instead of gearing in the new MYTHIC+ Dungeons.

Not a good reason but almost certainly discussed and part of the reason, if not the entire reason.

I would think ilvl 200 pve epics are better than deadly in pve for most. Maybe feral druids could utilize deadly but that would be fine honestly, feral tank could use a boost.

deadly is ilvl 213 the same as nax 25…I mean. Nax 25 is pugged hilariously easily.

also I believe its only a week its much cheaper for…So it wouldn’t be available after s6 starts.

bro they didnt even do it for the real wraith. made it completely unplayable for new players because everyone in arena was already geared to the gills. doubt theyll throw us a bone here

They’ve been burying arena in various ways since the beginning of TBC, so there’s not a chance they’re working on improving it any time soon.

Yep. And now that the Classic 1.14 client is usable on private servers, someone is going to come along and do it better.

There are already better wotlk servers. Have been for some time. Trusting Blizzard is like trusting a politican. People just don’t learn.

It might get dumped to honor, but I would probably bet its going to take the slot of what Hateful is right now - Portion Honor/Portion Arena points next season.

Which is kinda F’ed up in of itself because of the iLevel hike on Season 2 to mirror Ulduar gear.

Not only do you NOT get discount gear, you get to spend next seasons arena points on deadly gear which will be 20-40 ilevel’s behind Season 2 :slight_smile:
