I’m actually fine such a portion being at-cost and optional, except in that we lack about 4-8% “free” Stamina (or general max eHP) compared to where we probably should be.

My hot take: Indomitable should replace Weapon Specialization, leaving it optional but broadly accessible. Reinforced Plates should be changed from broad anti-physical durability (eHP and heal efficiency) nearer to raw eHP with infrequent bonus (such as through mitigation based on %HP). And (though this is tepid at best) 2–3 talent points from the top and middle tiers should be baseline, cheapened, or consolidated.

You can argue that Cleave should be less interdependent, but there’s no way Cleave is doing little even if you ignore its free Slams via FoB.

What synergies would you like to see trimmed in favor of higher base damage? And what, if any, skill expression would you want to see offered in their place?

Sweeping Strikes, sure. Removing Thunderous Roar or Colossus Smash from the GCD, though, makes no more sense than removing Mortal Strike from it.

I can 100% agree with that. If they even freed up 2 points for us, we could have a lot more control in a fight.
