I just hope they dont force it on the people who really dont like the freindship thing after we have been killing each other for years
No no.
It’s w OR ld of warcraft. The “or” is for this faction OR that one! ![]()
Seriously, is there a STUPIDER argument than “there’s WAR in the name!!!111” +facepalm+
Are you really on the community council?
You mean like how it’s forced on us at the end of every expansion?
Jailer - spoiler Working together
Nzoth - Worked together
Argus - Worked together
Archimonde - Worked together
Damn hope we don’t have to work together huh
Just gonna throw my two cents in here.
I’m established on the Alliance, meaning every profession is current, covered by my alts, have been for many expansions. I have my guilds bank, and bank alts with full guild vaults of all the leftover mats from each expansion. I’m pretty self sufficient when it come to crafting. I also like the layout of the alliance cities.
If the alliance totally tanks, I will not pay to faction change. I don’t really like the layout of Horde cities. I like my Nightelf racial and miss it a lot when I’m on my Tarun Druid. I don’t have all the professions represented on the Horde. I don’t like the idea of rolling alts to start all over.
So, if you tank the Alliance, I’m out. If there’s not enough fellow players to group with and I am forced to start all over, it’s going to be some other game.
I mean as a whole not just PVE wise it would make zero sense for PvP, Questing and a few other things
Yea, this could be fixed with just…allowing cross-faction play serious. Like I am literally scratching my head how anyone could consider the downside.
Also, not to diminish the guy that’s been giving us trouble in this thread, but he seems to have all the answers about faction balance while not partaking in any PvP, not doing anything higher than Heroic Dungeons, and being an LFR raider. Curious.
But you purchased the transmog that hints to the next expansion!
Half my teammates in every bg are horde mercs
How is queueing with a horde friend on my battletag any different than queueing with random horde trying to skip long queues while reaping the benefits of a populated LFG?
I agree with you.
Faction pvp is World Warcraft’s keystone, a reason Final Fantasy XIV lacks decent pvp.
But unfortunately as much as the whim of Raiders Alliances for having their World First as in the times of Vanilla or TBC, the stupid lore of Danuser and a resounding change to the war history that would make a clickbait or a lie the name War next to the Craft that It would only be the joke of the Wokecraft meme.
Much pvp content seen in the course of the game became oblivious thing that it would be impossible to relive a real war between horde and Alliance respectively was seen 15 years ago of this game.
Which as Rextroy demonstrates that content forgotten by the same company.
There really isn’t one.
And it’s so simple to implement…
Warmode on - Game is at it always has been, but you can’t cross faction group. This will keep the “War” in Warcraft for those that want it.
Warmode off - Game is as it always has been, but you can cross faction group. Flagging up is no longer possible with Warmode off. You may walk freely in opposing towns, but not interact with the NPCs. (Interaction feels like a programmers nightmare) You may trade with party members. (We already share the AH)
The only special condition would be you can’t Q up for any type of PVP while in a cross faction group.
It’s like, with that change alone would be the best change to WM they possibly could have done LOL. Like people would actually use WM if this was the case.
Reality: EVERY other game that does PvP better than WoW (Unreal Tournament, Halo, this that the other, etc) …
NONE OF THOSE GAMES HAVE FACTIONS.
FACTIONS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH PVP.
When I join a BG, I’m trying to beat the other “TEAM.” I don’t care who’s on that other “team.” It’s just RvB.
AND YOU CAN STILL HAVE THAT WITH CROSS FACTION.
The Faction BARRIER is what’s going away. We will still have FACTIONS. There will just be no more STUPID BARRIER TO PREVENT PEOPLE FROM PLAYING TOGETHER.
WHAT A CONCEPT IN A GAME!!!
It’s quite amazing, GW2 has no factions and yet the pvp and WvW function just fine. If they ain’t on your team, they die. Only downside is everyone in the 5man pvp being able to talk to one another.
i hope they keep the faction divide
It should be, but the fact of the crossfaction is due more to the pve than the pvp itself.
as the case that Alliance want to return to be the World First in Raids with the dependence of races coming from the hordes, who are fooled by those stupid blue ones.
you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear(well it must be something to your Spanish version of aunque la mona se vista de seda, mona se queda) but what I know is that the alliance will only be seen being losers in the pve depending on another race of the horde, such as Trolls, Orcs or Belfs even though a stupid dwarf dressed as yeti bothered me by bullying me with a Warcraft logs about my pathetic dps, it is not known about me because of my faction, but who are the first in Worldfirst.
It is because not many will agree with this change because the pvp war between both factions together with their respective races was the main keystone of the game unlike other pvp’s.
AND STOP COMPARING OTHER MULTIPLAYER GAMES THAT ARE NOT MMORPG, a little more and you put the

of fornite in my face your pig.
I’ll stop when it’s not relevant. The MMO or RPG part of it has no bearing on what makes a good team1 v team2 game. This is so easily refuted I’m not even going to bother. (hint: we have merc mode, and OMG… PVP STILL EXISTS!)
We have Merc mode and also Horde vs Horde BGs.
Is that why they added mercenary mode like seven years ago and even TBC Classic has same-faction battlegrounds? The average PvPer cares less about factions than the average raider
