Ideas for monk PvE Raid utility besides raid DR?

I’m a big fan of that raid wide transcendence to be honest! That’s a cool idea, and the first one I thought of before reading the post.

I think mana mist/ rain / fog/ teas are a cool idea too. Like a mist emanating from the monk hitting nearby players restoring X mana or something.

Raid wide transcendence is just scuffed warlock gateway.

I can only imagine all the diva mages and boomies crying that their setup got interrupted.

This idea is weirdly appropriate considering the new “dr with a limit” that death knights are stuck with. I like it a lot.

At least call it a scuffed wind rush totem. Depending on the design of the fight, and arena, the proposed monk version could work in places the other mobility options wouldn’t (line of sight, instant travel, perfectly synchronized). For example, use one on the melee to drag everyone to Sludgefist after he charges to save some extremely important uptime

The more I think of it, the more I’m convinced that having a way to temporarily grant melee players additional range for their attacks and abilities would be an awesome utility, not currently found in other specs, and also very useful in the current raid design.

I like this idea but the pessimist in me thinks if melee start dominating raiding then blizzard will just nerf it or make melee move further from the boss to render the CD useless.

Peace Treaty. 5 minute cool down

For the next 5 seconds combat stops. During Peace Treaty, you may move but cannot attack or be attacked. During this time, all healing received is increased by 100%. After the duration, this effect results in a “Failed Peace” debuff for 5 minutes in which Peace Treaty may not be cast.

May not be used in PvP

That conjured mana tea is an amazing idea.
