Kangaroo!
For something completely different than other mounts, the ‘pocket’ can hold a bag!
Obviously, it could be a ‘seat’ for a 2nd player, but that’s been done before. So, what about a special mount bag (possibly profession oriented) that allows the lucky mount owner to collect more goodies while out and about questing!

Yes, but it needs to have an animation where it knocks players down with a kick.

If they make a kangaroo mount and I don’t ride in the pouch, I’ma be so mad. About as mad as I still am about pirate infinite dragon from Tazavesh not being a mount.

Honestly, I would love to see it. 
Kangaroo mounts would be acceptable, but only if gnomes and vulpera rode in the pouch instead of on the saddle on the back.

Blizz will make it have a tallstrider skeleton and animations, because they really don’t do new skeletons anymore lol.
Wrath brought us that yeti skeleton for the first time. Then it was used in MoP for their yetis, then WoD for the gronnlings. Then Legion for the naga brutes, then BFA for the same thing as well as giant rock monsters (the azerite boss from motherlode uses it) and in SL we got a ton of undead-ghost-metal things using the exact same skeleton/animations.
New skeletons are extremely rare.
WoW is very cheap, both to play and what we get out of it.
