Idea death grip for paladins?

Pull isn’t a reason to be brought except for in very specific circumstances, that is already the problem paladins face. We are currently only ever desirable if a specific mechanic is greatly negated through using BoP.

Giving us more reason to be taken for 1 specific encounter per raid isn’t what paladins need, especially when DK would still have more options and do the job better with Gorefiend on Blood, and the availability (at cost) for Abomination Limb on all specs, as well as options for an additional charge.

Which would be even worse because then you are now also giving it to a class that has a Battle shout, raidwide defensive cd, more mobility, and a partywide 20% crit cooldown.

No, Blizzard needs to fix the actual problems that Ret already had instead of trying to monkey paw some terrible design to avoid doing so.
Ret is already hampered by it’s ability in PvP and giving it a grip would just make them even more toxic there and give them even more reason to keep us 6ft under.

We need a redesign of our mobility, we need more than 1 of our auras being useful in PvE, we need to not have half of our auras only provide benefit for the casting paladin, and we need to have a valid unique raidwide reason to actually be invited to a group.

Brez and grip just don’t achieve any of that, and that is just the surface of what needs to be fixed.

Man don’t tempt them. Look what they did with “seals” lol. Never hated Blizzard more than I do watching DF development.
