Hello, wouldn’t it be cool if we had classic arena in retail?
Not classic in a sense of having classic abilities but, classic as in having the original classes queuing in an arena bracket
I bring this up because of all the extra classes like evokers and such, that don’t really belong in this game are crowding up arena and scaring away new players with nonsense abilities.
It would be nice to go back to a simple game where there’s only a few melee and a few casters, few healers. What yall think!?
This post simply doesn’t make sense because you can literally do that in classic wow.
No, no, no. What I am suggesting is Retail Arena with Retail abilities but restricted to the Original Arena classes ie
Warrior
Rogue
Mage
Warlock
Priest
Druid
Hunter
Paladin
Shaman
You’re aware that will never happen right? They won’t even remove tanks from PvP.
Not with that attitude! 
It’s not possible and it’ll never happen. If they don’t stop tanks from playing in what world would they not allow certain classes to not play and who would even want to play that besides you?
Seriously man, the brain is capable of so much and you squander your potential creating these scenarios that will never come to fruition.
Idk seems pretty possible to me, they add in brawls and special game modes all the time

Is this idea really that farfetched?
I personally thought it made sense if you consolidated arena to only a few classes to better balance it out over trying to balance what we have now which is impossible. (Via a gamemode people can opt into)
Popularity of arena has dropped because it’s just too complicated of a game mode, if you had to only play based off of fundamentals with only the most basic classes, you would have a better time playing haha
One example that was similar that sparked this idea was Pokemon. I used to love pokemon, the original 151 were awesome, you had fire types, water types, grass ect…
Tune in today and you’ll see it’s now very complex, there is so much going on there. Sure, there are diehards that are still able to name them all but it’s not as casual friendly as it once was.
Now, Pokemon came out with “151” decks that feature only the originals with newer artwork. You cannot find those decks in stores anywhere, meaning the original product was the best.
Having Original Arena where there’s no DK’s, DH, Monks or Evokers would be amazing for this game full stop.
