I did earn that mount back in the day but I do not feel entitled to have that benefit last through multiple expansions. I would be fine getting rid of this benefit.

We've had new "utility" mounts for four straight expansions.

I agree in part. Its kinda sad seeing everyone use the same 2 mounts all the time. Maybe make it so that each xpac has it's own version. Old ones only work in the areas relevant to their expansion.

they should let you umm... I dunno… whatever. maybe give every mount an ability, or let you pick one mount's ability to use on other mounts.

Only if they remove the other utility spells that have no real use in combat like water walking, path of frost, levitate, etc. Better remove the ability for druids to gather herbs while shapshifted as well, along with removing the vendor mounts as well.

levitate on my shadow priest was a nice surprise when I found it.
