it took me a couple of tries to get the timing right but I did get it…still no mount 
Managed to just get it on my warrior by popping a few Noggenfogger Elixirs till i had the slowfall buff. Then jumped over/into the teleporter. It allowed me to float onto the floor and not fall through. GL!

Hunter here. Same thing. I used my Disengage as I soon as the screen started to change from zoning to the throne room and it popped me up just high enough in the air to not fall through the floor and die for the sixth time.

Using the toy Silver Linin’ Scepter from Hallowfalls does the trick. It floats you a bit off the ground which is just enough to not fall through the world when teleporting to Lich King.

On Shaman, if you use Gust of Wind right after being teleported, you can land on the boss platform.

Use a noggenfogger until you get slowfall, worked 1st try for me
Same for me, I was able to do it no my DH by double jumping and fel rushing as soon as I went through the teleporter. Seems like the floor is taking a few seconds to load in so if you have some ability to remain at the same elevation the floor should spawn under you, at least it did for me.
How does this even happen?
I used the toy “Stylish Black Parasol” and sprint on my rogue to get past this after falling the first time.

I managed to get around this by using the Whispers of Rai’Vosh toy - looks like any slow fall can do the trick (tried black parasol but it didnt “catch” in time)

Yeah this is also happening to me. Getting sick of putting bug reports in for old content. Then it never gets fixed.

Evoker here. Used my deep breath the second I spawned in and it worked.
Works with pally if he has something like slow fall too and pop mount
I came here to report the same problem. Fell into the void twice in a row, started a video recording to document proof only to make it in successfully on that attempt. Of course.

Well, I thought this would be unique and laughed when they sent me to the bug forums. I tried it twice, like an idiot and fell to my death both times, like an idiot. Can I get some gold for the repair bill at least?
That is hilarious! I went back after reading this, stripped down naked and died 3 more times. I fired up the Game Bar to record and sure as sh1t, it worked! Thanks, coincidence or not.

I used slow fall from my Pterodactyl pet then a quick disengage and it finally worked. Disengage alone isn’t enough. Ridiculous bug that probably won’t get fixed.
Yeah I stripped down for the recording too, since I really didn’t feel like adding more to my repair bills. Game has become sentient and is messing with us.
