“uh you should just abandon the friends you have raided with for 3 years and find the 2 probably-unfun guilds on ur server that turn off the buff :^)” it’s not gatekeeping no one is stopping you from doing the raid and im not even saying the game should go my way, the buff was in original wrath after all but I think it’s fair to want the game to be fun we’re paying for it. not even the biggest buff fan would want the final raid tier in classic, I know cata is a thing but wrath is the end for a lot of people, to just be a cakewalk and maybe it will still be hard
as a bigger fan of classic maybe my opinion matters a tiny bit more lol
One day you will grow up and understand in life you have to make choices. So if the buff is that important to you, go find a new guild. If not stop whining. Its not that hard of a concept.

let me put it like this do you want the final raid tier to be challenging or do you want it to just be a cakewalk, would you have fun and consistently raid ICC even if it is a complete joke even easier than wrath!naxx or would you see the content/get the gear and then quit?
his opinion is still valid but i think bigger fans who played the game more opinions are probably more valid, he didn’t even like 2/3rd of classic. i think people are taking this too personally too I think they’re afraid blizzard will listen to the people who don’t want the buff i very specifically never said blizzard shouldn’t add it
You can always just not use the buff if you want the extra challenge.

Yes, already stated earlier that its fun to absolutely destroy stuff after the content has ran its course. And you can turn off the buff.
Where you are getting this? If people are killing bosses in like 40 seconds then you can say its as easy or easier than Naxx, otherwise its a complete fabrication.
Kind of strange how we went through Wrath, this tier was gatekept by Blizzard through releasing the content in stages, you couldnt do H anything until you killed the LK on normal, and we had this stacking debuff come in as well and we all had a blast.
Because they suck. Vanilla sucks, 100%. Its an unfinished game through and through. Its not like I didnt try it out, its just… bad. I tried TBC as well and guess what, not fun again.
You can turn the buff off… that is the point. You are complaining to complain when YOU can actually do something about it in game.

There is no way ICC will be easier than Naxx with the 30% buff.
not LK but if the bosses just fall over after 2 minutes it would probably be naxx tier maybe something like blood council would be above naxx because you can’t ignore mechanics
I’m hoping it will be similar difficulty to heroic TOGC. Not crazy difficult as long as everyone can follow the mechanics.
yeah maybe the buff won’t be that big of a deal, the raid won’t be a joke and you’ll at least be doing bigger numbers which is always fun. i really don’t know that’s what I said a few times
still be harder than Naxx. Patchwerk was around 1m in fight length. Grobb, 44 seconds, Gluth 37 seconds (granted these are the fastest times I am finding to list, but getting to 2m on these fights and I would say your guild is pretty bad taking 4 times as long to kill something and other kills really arent that far off). But when it comes to H ICC, you are looking at 2:10m, Deathwhisper around 3 minutes maybe though kill times vary wildly, Lootship isnt worth talking about, Saurfang is around 2:40m.
So no, its not going to be naxx easy. Naxx barely had anything to it.
well with my guild patchwerk was more like 2 minutes and almost 4 minutes on release and unlike other naxx encounters we could still wipe on patchwerk if he suddenly started chunking dps because of his hateful strikes. but idk what point im trying to make by saying that, my guild is probably average to above average we cleared all icc heroics except putricide (we can get to the last phase but the tank transitions kept killing us we might get him next week) and obviously lk
Then you have 0 worries about ICC. Seriously.

well we’re already clearing heroic fights add a 30% dmg increase and the fights might go from a fun challenge to just falling over but maybe not especially during the early buff phases I don’t know when the full buff is getting added. i kinda hope other dad guilds are pushing themselves to beat the content instead of throwing their hands up and saying ok let’s wait for the buff
Then go play retail. There is literally nothing anyone can say other than agree with you on removing the buff. You want a challenge, thats what retail is for. Go there.
