I would quit if WoW ever went "free to play."

I don’t want to play alongside the sort of people that “free to play” games draw in. I feel like anyone who isn’t willing to drop 50 cents a day on a game this great doesn’t deserve to be a part of our subculture.

Am I the only one who sees it this way? Every time I encounter someone saying “wOw sHoULd gO f2P!!!111” I get queasy and feel absolutely disgusted.

Why would anyone who currently plays WoW want this to happen?
