I would legitimately sacrifice a raid tier for player housing

I also would not.

No. Because we already have them. Just needs to be updated and worked on more.

See garrisons.

(A building for your furnishing can be added to the garrison make-up)

How about nooo.

They don’t even need to take this trade.
They have so many assets ready, they only need to make the code work.

We already did “housing” in WoD and WoW lost almost half its subscribers in 6 months.

Players want to be out in the world, not isolated from everyone else.

I would not.

Since I don’t raid and I happen to adore player housing - me! :raising_hand_woman:

You know your argument is weak when you say 99% of a population agrees on ANYTHING. Heck you can’t get that many to agree that Hitler was bad.

That is a false choice.

I would gladly have sacrificed covenants for player housing.

Much better.

The option to sacrifice a raid tier is always suggested, but why not float the idea of another ToC? A single stadium floor with around 8-12 continuous boss fights.

Reuse the 50 attempts gimmick as a way for world first guilds to have something unique to accomplish, and you now have a working raid tier that doesn’t require a lot of effort.

I know it sounds counterintuitive, but at this point Blizzard is making the right call on player housing by just not having anything to do with it. They could sacrifice an entire expansion’s worth of development time and resources and it still wouldn’t even begin to hold a candle to what FFXIV has going on. Anything they came up with would be inferior and ridiculed endlessly, so it’s better to just not even bother and focus on the things WoW does better.

I would!
In my honest opinion every expansion should have 1 mega raid.
All the histpry behind the expansion should lead to this mega raid.
The rest would be a mix of quests and dungeons.

Well luckily for you, can have sacrifice a raid tier and get nothing instead!

Yea let’s just make up random stuff with literally no basis in fact and make decisions based on that. What could possibly go wrong?

No I do not want Garrison 2.0

It was a good idea, it just needs to be improved upon and not expac locked.

I would sacrifice an expansion only feature for any evergreen addition to the game. Why sacrifice a raid tier when we can sacrifice something clearly disposable?

I would as well, but honestly I feel like Blizz touts this line as an excuse to not do it. I’m sure they could do both if they really wanted to, but they don’t want to, so they say things like this to justify not doing it, and causing a rift in the player base.
