Nothing.

I remember when I finally got flight form in BC. I’d go flying thru Nagrand up as high as possible. Shift out of flight form and free fall see how close to the ground I could switch back before I went splat. Good times!

No way. That would just encourage the devs to make more lands like Draenor. Full of impassable landscape and little paths thru it all.

The world would not be the same without being able to fly high above and see the zone in its entirety. That type of experience cannot be supplemented any other way; being in full control of vertical movement is one of the things I absolutely adore about World of Warcraft. I would never give that up.

I wouldnt give UP flying…but i would go back to 60% flying speed (that was the OG flying speed right?) Or slower even…if ground mounts were much faster. Then you can choose to be slow in the air, but free to explore and avoid combat. Or fast on ground but you will have to fight and take paths to get around.

Flying in WoW is irreplaceable. Given to us in BC. Its love. Ion tried it in WoD. Forums were ablaze :fire::fire_engine:I wouldn’t trade it for the world of Azeroth. :heart::+1:

Hey, if Activsion is still insisting on using Unreal Engine for Tony Hawk (Because it worked so well the last 2 times), why not on the WoW Engine as well at this point? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I don’t think I’d want to give up flying but I am a bit confused why they design so many annoying zones and don’t give us faster ground mount speed if they obsess over the idea of us being grounded.

Nothing. I like flying the way it is and it shouldn’t be treated like it’s a bad thing for the game. Back when the game was the most successful flying was basically given to us freely at max level. Not saying flying caused the success of the game but it sure didn’t hurt it.

I never did unlock flying in BfA… Will SL flying be gated behind quest chains??? I would rather pay a flight trainer for the ability like how we use to once upon a time…

The expansions always get worse once everyone starts flying.

Youre welcome to. In fact, warmode should be no fly. But to non pvpers, this is the worst case scenario.

I have stopped purchasing expansions and no longer recommend WOW to friends and coworkers due to Pathfinder…that’s’ how much I enjoy flying.

Oh man, I can’t wait to run around on a ground mount, at 380% speed and getting caught on a twig. or fly off a mountain because I dislodged myself from the same twig! It would make the ridiculously long ground-based trip up to that troll dungeon that isn’t King’s rest much more horrible!
