If you want to give feedback without discussion or disagreement i recommend the ingame suggestion box next to the bug report. Its directly to blizzard and no one else has to see it so you wont get into random internet stranger arguments.

You start out normal and I’m sure that OP was thinking that you began the game as a mage that can heal as soon as you make one.
No. I knew Mage was dps only. I just think Mages should have a heal spec. Didn’t they used to?

Yea mages in retail version of WoW used to many years ago be able to self heal with evocate. The glyph of evocation. My mage used to have that. Mage on Illidan server and my friend had a mage named Shaoxiangua on Illidan server that also used to use this.
Yeah they’re not healers. Let us know when any class that’s been around since classic has a sudden drastic change like this.

Zandalari mages can heal (themselves) too, if they go stand in a corner away from combat and wiggle for 4 seconds.
I think a Mage can heal.
Mage make food. 
Food heals.
Mage can heal.
It can heal a ton if you make use of rewind and ice block.
They have enough trouble balancing classes as it is. Throwing a mage heal class in for the few people that want it doesnt seem like a good idea.
The only reason that it works in season of discovery is because the content is a lot simpler and easy.
