That you are insisting my post was about violence is wrong. Anyone who can read/comprehend properly will understand it is about the use of a logical fallacy (loaded question).

Another huge difference between rated and casual bgs is I see the mistake a lot of healers flag carrying in WSG or TP. The reason you never want to do that, is because even the bad players will be focusing/stunning/silencing the correct target instead of having them pop cds on a tank or dps while a healer free casts.
I am not making the claim that everyone who plays bgs is good, I think everyone is fairly average skill but stupid mistakes like that lose games. Don’t passively make the enemy team better, healers just standing way back off the objective also means you usually only have 1 guy attacking you who knows what he is doing, but 1 dps can’t disrupt a good healer enough to make a huge difference.
Maybe its because I used to play competative arena as healer that I can almost read bg players and get them to not focus me.

Another pet peave I have is when dps try to defend their own FC when they have 50-60% damage debuff already, you could pop 1 cd and kill EFC, enemy players can do the same to your FC, doesn’t matter if you had 30 dps trying to defend him.
The funniest thing I had to get used to was to stop fake casting in bgs. So many players were not interrupting me that I was effectively silencing myself by interrupting my own casts (except certain players you would figure out throughout the game). Whereas in arena the game could be won or lost on if you were able to fake cast and have them miss an interrupt.

As far as the green post, I think the rogue should have been defending the node, rogue/feral are some of the best at defending. Not only because they have many interrupts, they are also very good 1v1 classes, and when I stealth defends a node it tends to get players to attack a node 1 at a time to try to ninja, rather than sending 3 if they see 1 dk at a node for example.

Juga. I had to retype this a few times, because I strongly respect you, and I didn’t want to say anything that might make things worse. Heck, YOU are the person who made me start to feel I might have a bit of “WoW family” goin’ on, by inviting me to add you, being so welcoming to play BGs with you and your friends, and helping start up the really awesome alliance btag community.

Anyway, before this goes any further, I AM sorry for unintentionally causing you any upset. I really did not like what I saw as a loaded question - particularly by a person “in some authority” - but for anyone to claim that by bringing up that classic example of a question I was making light of domestic violence is entirely wrong.

And I will not apologize for making the point - because I still believe the original green post assumed guilt and was so strangely presumptuous that no answer needed to be forthcoming. So believe me, for me to express my disgust at it the way I did, was very much on purpose.

If you still do not understand, then let us simply agree to disagree. (Also, feel free to PM me anytime if you want to talk about the domestic violence issue further. The subject itself was, again, not the point I was making, but if it is important to you, let’s talk - just not on the forums.)

Agreed. The comment about damage was clearly intended to suggest that the player in question had low damage, thus intimating that they are the cause of the losses. I think it is pretty disgusting myself, when that is accusation is made by someone who is supposed to be a forum leader. We get enough of that drivel from the regular trolls on here lol.

I thought I made it clear that the damage in the bg suggested he had a preference for defending in battlegrounds rather than attacking but I guess it wasn’t made clear enough
