Violence and love go hand-in-hand. I think you guys have been watching too many cartoons or reading too many smut novels.
p.s. Even the most famous love story, Romeo and Juliet, has violence.

A guildie from years and years ago and I used to sing “Love is a battleground**” to the tune of this song whenever we played together. Oh, my heartstrings, she doesn’t play anymore.
You simply can’t have a platonic relationship in this culture anymore.
It always has to be “secretly gay.” It’s incredibly frustrating. I’m all for LGBTQ and their representation in fiction, but for Elune’s sake, not every relationship needs to be a hamfisted LGBTQ relationship.
Maybe a sign that people are desperate for romantic relationships. It’s so normal in every day life, but doesn’t really exist in game.
To be clear, I mean any kind of romantic relationship. I agree that a forced relationship is also a bad thing.
On the other hand, you simply can’t have a gay relationship on the forums anymore.
It always has to be a “political agenda.” It’s incredibly frustrating. I’m all for characters being friends but for Elune’s sake, not every gay couple needs to be labeled as a hamfisted LGBTQ relationship.
I’ll miss Velen & Illidan’s little bro-mance they had going on while on Argus
Jaina and Hogger need more light and the love chiild they will bring to Azeroth aka Next Villian or Azeroths next Heartthrob
You have the two night fae stags. I was pretty happy with that because it was well written and organic.
Write a relationship correctly and it’s perfectly fine.
I feel like Wranduin is a meme, but I’m not entirely sure…
Either way, we have confirmation from the writers that it’s never going to happen because neither character (or at least Anduin) doesn’t roll that way.
Koltira and Thassarian would at least make lore sense considering how close they are, but I don’t think that’s going to happen either as they call each other “brothers.” Also, they’re both death knights, so they’re supposed to have amorous feeling ripped away from them by the Lich King.
I would love them together but also hate that cinematic.
And I agree completely. Yes, the stags are a sweet couple. I think Flynn and Shaw was a terrible couple.
However, to me it comes down to this: who cares? It really doesn’t matter if Blizzard makes two pixel characters in love. I just wish Blizzard would pick couples that make sense for immersion reasons.
Jaina and arthas
Tyrande and Malfurion
Anduin and Wrathion
Millhouse and Millificent
Mankrik and Mankriks wife
Kobold and Candle
I mean the only other significant LGBT relationship is Shaw and Flynn and I think they’re perfectly fine too. Their interactions in the Dazar’alor heist were cute and the book sets them up well.
I just wish they’d confirm that Flynn had a thing for Taelia too so we can accept that bi people exist.
I would have loved that back in the earlier days of WoW but I think the ship has sailed by now unfortunately.
the most realistic couple in WoW was that pair of demons in one of the Netherstorm dungeons, the ones acting like Peg and Al Bundy.
Sadly. Cant have Orc/Human romance in our game. Then how will the devs stuff the faction conflict down our throats?
Way back in Cata, I loved questing in Hyjal and loved the expanding daily hub that ventured into the Firelands.
I am not a fan of fandoms, of slash, of fanfiction, of pairings, etc. etc.
And I am not a fan of pandering to the LGBT community. Just because I’m gay doesn’t mean everything around me and involving me has to be gay. I am multi-faceted, and I shine bright like a diamond.
That being said, there are two druid characters, Tholo Whitehoof and Anren Shadowseeker, and they are part of the questline and then I think will randomly provide a daily quest depending on which path you take that day.
They are the only two that I considered to have a bromance or a relationship. But it was just because they were so cute. I always kept that to myself.
I never subscribed to the Anduin/Wrathion hype train because in my opinion two bottoms does not a top make.
As long as they could avoid teh idea that bi folks can’t be monogamous, maybe.
I always think this, too. Leave it up to the reader/viewer/player to make up their own minds. It doesn’t have to be overt, regardless of straight or gay. People can be close non-romantically, and each person will imbue it with their own perspective.
Well the game could be called “World of Lovecraft” with all the Old God references. However, that is a very different type of lovecraft.
