I like Brann, one of my favorite recurring characters, but I wouldn’t mind a healer who doesn’t require running over items (the HoT would still be very good on pet classes so you’d have a reason to pick him anyway).

Being able to chose from a set cast of Explorer’s League/Dragon Scale Expedition characters would have been better than Tank Bran and Healer Bran.
They introduced like a dozen Dragonscale Expedition characters in DF that they barely used. Why not the big Kul Tiran mountain climber as tank and the Nightborn wildlife cataloguer as healer?

Of course I would. I’d be helping Elise for hours. By the end of it, we’d both be hot, sweaty and exhausted, but we’d have a treasure trove of archaeological discoveries that we dug up.

I would actually like this expanded to include some story elements.
Would be nice to take new characters through delves, E.G Thralls Children or Garrosh Children. Could introduce new characters, build reknown and interact with them as they level get more powerful, delvelop personalities.
Would be cool to have delves in a similar manner to followers from garrisons, level them up, gear/equip them etc

While I can understand why they didn’t add more companions, having different ones supporting us in different ways would have been pretty sweet; We could have had some that gave us stealth/ambush options, tanking, control… just lots of things they could have done.
Maybe we get it in midnight?

Granted, you now have your choice between: Slaughter daughter Emeni, Mad Duke Theotar, Pelagos (as the Arbiter for maximum laughs), and Lady Moonberry.

I think we should be able to pick celebrity companions. Wouldnt it be awesome to have Jim Carey or Arnold as you companion instead of Brann. Black widow would also be cool. Jason Statham would be another great companion, but he would probably make my toon look bad and uncool in comparison. Maybe if we could send him into packs alone to kill mobs while we watch. You get the idea.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they added another option or more at some point. Might not happen until the next expansion, but who knows?
Would be kinda cool if you could incorporate your followers from previous expansions.
