At some point all classes will be available to all races. They said this in a interview but it takes time making all the animations and yada yada. Plus they have different priority’s over this. Like making heritage armor

What’s stopping someone from x race being interested in X, and wanting to do it?

I agree with shaman/druids being any race.
Especially druids. I shapechange into animals forms, why not any racial shape too?
The only allure with the dracthyr I have is that I have the option to not be that butt ugly dragon form out of combat.

I feel like it just doesn’t work until they start making factions more progressive and developed as a whole. Rather than being stitched together races, have them share their cultures and magics with the people of their faction. Make questlines about how it is happening, bring back class questlines in general. Introduce really cool weapon transmogs for every class that comes from a cool single player questline designed to feel like a proper single player experience. Players would be working with the class leaders of their factions to further bolster the power of their people through sharing and teaching each other their different ways.
It is weird to me how isolated they all are. It’d be a really cool opportunity too to introduce patch by patch questlines to keep solo players engaged in their experience. Just like how other mmos have quests that are “to be continued” until the next main patch, I think WoW should do this too with diversifying the magic used by each faction. That’s just one possibility for these quests too, but I think it would be cool, each expansion you could have an epic weapon transmog to unlock that was really meant to capture the class fantasy, and wasn’t just mid. Make it as cool as any loot’s appearance in the entire game, and make it for every class every expansion.
People are begging for single player content, people are begging for more class options. This fits with lore, way more than the current way of the world of warcraft does. It doesn’t make any sense at all that they wouldn’t try to share their power to bolster the might of the horde or the alliance. Races shouldn’t be so isolated from each others’ influence in this game.

My troll shaman is male now but when I first made him in I think Wrath, he was a beautiful troll woman.
Pandaren have the best totem. Who doesn’t want to thrown down totem kegs?
A bunch of Blood Elves asked some Tauren to train them in the shamanistic arts.
That’s going to be the lore reason for all races getting all classes eventually.
