I think they have forgotten that pixels aren’t real.
I’m willing to bet its more to due with how humans can better empathize with humanish like appearances easier than something more… monstrous. Plus, its really hard to add emotion and expression to a dragons face compared to humans. Just my take on this situation tho

Well, for many people who play videogames, its more of we want to see and experience stories that arent really possible to do in the real world. Personally i dont give 2 cents one way or the other, i just like to hit things and get loot, but not everyone playing videogames wants wholesome. There are entire genres of games that exist due to people wanting more sinister style games/stories just as there are plethora of hero arc story games too! What you find fun may not be what others find fun as well, just to note
Personally I wish they’d make Dark Souls less dark and add more bright colors and crying NPCs.

If you wanted a brighter version, Wildheart exists, not sure about the crying NPC’s tho. (Tis jok, iirc the game is not good)

She could use some scars for sure. She could lose an arm or have her face messed up
Elden Ring had tons of bright colors and more than a few crying npcs(because of all the horrible things that happen to people in that world)

Yeah no, if anyone is to behead the Dragon Queen, I rather it be us the players. Would put on my Dragonslayer title afterwards and hopefully can hang the head above the fireplace in me home (If I had one that is, unless ya include Garrison).
To clarify a bit though, the dragon head of Alexstrasza, not her humanoid head. I mean sure, my name is Crazie, but I am not insane. Only on Tuesdays though.

I’m wondering what, if any, effect getting struck by shadow-flame will have on Alexstrasza.
After all, Sabellion said he felt it corrupting him and had to be saved by Ebyssian. So,maybe, Alexstrasza has that corruption too.

Honestly, I don’t think anyone would bat an eye if they killed off Toddy Whiskers. What an annoying character, in my opinion.

That’d be great. The Aspects have always been even more pompous than elves, imo. At least the elves lost their homes. Meanwhile, the dragons get an entire continent and their (confusing) super powers back. The story just blows.

Aegwynn seducing a Kirin Tor mage to get pregnant so she could pass the power of Tirisfal on to her son rather than give it back to the council was pretty dark, especially with Sargeras possessing the unborn child that would become Medivh. Garona is a result of an unwanted pregnancy. Or at least she was until they softened her origin. I think they made it consentual now or something.
They retcon a lot of things so hard to keep track of what the actual stories are now.
