I foresee allied races being more neutral given the supposed (and hopefully permanent) wind down of the horde vs alliance storyline nonsense that hasn’t made sense since Vanilla.
LF Dranei, Nightborne, and HM Tauren should have been both factions. All 3 had extremely forced reasons for picking their faction.
I’d argue even that goblins should’ve gotten the robognome treatment but it is also clear robognomes are an equally forced solution to a very blatent storyline fail in getting alliance some kind of allied race other than Kul Tirans.
Mechagon itself feels like the result of Blizzard sitting down and realizing early in BfA that they wrote themselves into a narrative hole.
