If there is a new class/race tied to next expansion then people will preorder it because of them being available a month before release. Not much to do with actually playing the next expansion for some but most will def pre order.

I won’t wait 1 month. I will wait 3, if 10.0 is a repeat of this patch and there is no new class. I will wait until “Creation Catalyst 2.0” is unlocked, I will wait until the Valor cap is a bit higher, I will wait until I’m not time-gated waiting for patch systems.

I like to buy early so I can level my alt army and be right on time for 10.3 catch-up with a bunch of “max-level”.

Not really. I don’t enjoy the launch day issues and instability much anymore.

i guess you did not do Shadowlands Launch , we did not have much problem , i just had 60 minutes queue on my server but no lags in the game etc

honeymoon phase is very strong , i remember pvp players saying pvp was very good first weeks , then 1 month later the oneshots with Convoks appeared on Youtube…

Anyone who says they are going to wait 1 month into the patch is completely bluffing, thinking that somehow that bluff will make a blizzard Dev message them about their concerns and all of a sudden cater the design of the game around them. Not happening.

Anyone who has any plans what so ever of buying 10.0, will be preordering it and playing day 1 lol. Starting a new xpac 1 month late, is probably not the best idea for anyone who actually wants to run the content.

THe problems really didn’t start until people hit 60 and realized that Covenants weren’t really this great thing Blizz made them out to be .

I wonder how many people next expansion are going to go along with Blizz when they say " We aren’t going to change anything until every one sees it (the new system) and we think the majority will like it " after being told the problems with the system.

I mean it has happened for the last 3 expansions. Will Blizz and non Beta testers have learned their lesson after the 3rd time ?
