Crap I accidentally clicked on some random guy’s blog instead of the general forums again
I get it.
You have the right attitude, shelf it for a bit and do something else. It will get better.
Haha! I just wanted to share my thoughts, reasoning, etc. I feel that there are probably others that can relate and I just wanted to express my feelings here. I went from playing Classic for hours a day to not at all in the course of a couple of weeks. I was all in, and now I am all out at least until things calm down or I can pay for a transfer to a PVE realm.
I remember playing Vanilla, at least there I choose PVE!
Just play to have fun, and drone out the nerds than inhabit these dark forums.
So i thought classic players were supposed to be the fun, laidback players… some of you all are just downright snobs.
Didn’t take long until the keyboard justice warriors came barging in to your thread
Like imagine thinking that people care that you care or not xDD get a grip man
And you just made the 800th whine post about a whine post… hypocrite much xDD
This is one of the more reasonable posts on the topic, but I gotta say…
This is why retail players are referred to as retail babies. Ya got to level 30 ish and the game got hard so you went back to the easier (leveling at least) game.
Leveling was fine. It was getting killed repeatedly while trying to level that got me. I had no issue with the speed of leveling.
That’s most of the Classic community. (Especially pirate server players.)
Sounds like a reasonable choice.
How is the faction balance on Deviate Delight? I had imagined it was Alliance heavy.
I am not sure. I have just gotten to the low-mid 30s. So most of the zones and instances have been Alliance oriented to this point.
The hyperbole is strong with this one…
Pvp right now is hectic because the honor system just came out. Give it some time. But do realize, a pvp server means pvp everywhere, anytime, all the time sometimes. If you want optional pvp you got to roll on a pve server. You can still pvp on a pve server. If you are on grobbulous I think that server is pretty balanced? Which is a good thing .
When bgs come out it wont have nearly as m uch pvp as is going on now.
Good luck!
I’ve moved back to FFXIV. BfA got boring since I can’t fly yet, and Classic just isn’t enough to hold my subscription, especially with how bad the community is compared to other MMORPGs.
Hope you have fun.
My friend described Retail as Disney Land and I said Classic was like the county fair. He said no, its like bootcamp. I think thats a fair analogy. One is hard work and you are proud when you are done. It builds camaraderie. The other is a playground.
Once you get to 60 and get some decent blue pvp gear, its actually really fun to pvp all day right now. I am having a blast. I don’t pve at all anymore, and I transferred to heartseeker, an alliance dominated server to help balance another server I am mostly farming honor not in zergs, but solo , and in groups of 2-5. Sometimes I do go to kargath where the bloodbath is , which is fun as well, even though we are outnumbered at the moment.
Also , to be honest, I didn’t level quite so much out in the open world as I did in dungeons. It is very possible to level all the way to 60 in dungeons, where there is no pvp. It’s just going to take a little longer, unless you have great teamwork and Aoe classes and then it could become even faster then questing.
It doesn’t, but we can. If we work together, party up, establish relationships on our servers with other guilds… you know, work together?
I played for at least 12 hours this weekend and only made it to level 10. Not everyone is a hyper leveling efficiency god. Some of us are playing to actually just enjoy the game.
Ya I hear that. People are obsessed with ranking but things will calm down in a few weeks when they realize they can’t rank as fast as others. And I think blizzard is going to put in Bg’s sooner than later. They aren’t going to allow the world to remain this way for long.
These forums are toxic.
Nobody quits classic wow because it’s “hard” dude. They are quitting because it’s too much of a time commitment. I’m stick of people saying classic wow was hard. It wasn’t hard AT. ALL. It just took FOR-EV-ER (and it was killin me, Smalls).
Don’t talk town to other people because they don’t have as much free time as YOU do. Jesus.
