no it doesnt, it would matter if there were some sort of life validating reward at the end like an olympic medal or a winning lottery ticket. this is a virtual world you are CHOOSING to spend time in, so it doesnt matter how efficient your choices are, but it does matter that you have choices. and rdf would be a more casual players approach to the game so they would choose rdf, if the current LFG advocates truly believe in LFG then they would continue to use it. and false sense of competition is strictly in the head as theres no real life reputation or victory or tv talk show tour whether your server first or server last.
Imagine saying this, and pushing 100% of that on other people, then getting mad that nobody was social.
Reality check - Nobody says anything in Classic groups either. The myth of social groups is just that; a myth. Some people do, but most don’t. And at this point, it’s just a tired, over-used excuse people like you use to push your agenda in Classic.
I dont beleive you know what efficiency means at all then.
And why it must be balanced across all contents lol
This happens in response to raids, but very, very, very infrequently in response to dungeons. Players don’t network much for easy content. Players will choose analog grouping if the content is hard enough, even with a queue option available. If you have to force them to engage in analog group formation it means the content is trivial.
This is how it is in Classic.
But it’s not 100x more efficient. You not being willing to give up some efficiency to play how you want to play is a you problem.
i do know what efficiency is, i deal with it all the time in my line of work, and what youre talking about is a dumb video game. having choices is the important point. having both lfg and rdf would provide that, there is NO NEED for anthing to balance, the choice is still there. AND, heres a real eye opener for you… back in original wrath both the LFG channel AND RDF had alot going on. and quit cherry picking because you know youre wrong and want to keep arguing. ive made my point and all youve done is reinforce that you NEED the game to provide some sort of false accomplishment in your life and therefore you NEED rdf out so you can feel like youre lording it over people in LFG.
retail player copium
youre credibility is shot with the word copium and youre entrance to the no fly list is guaranteed by the “retail player” youve exposed yourself as someones toxic alt by being here a day and making 1 comment. buy bye now.
This was an example.
Btw its around 79% more efficient than questing.
Fixed for you.
Now do get in a level 80 raid with level 52 gear since efficiency isnt important at all, if people say “no” you can reply this and watch them LOL
The way you speak about it makes crystal clear you dont even work let alone understand what is the concept of it.
you make trolling assumptions proving you arent here to talk, youre here just to whine about rdf being baaaadddd. go back to day care trollboy.
7 days here and every post anti rdf… AHA you are a troll and an anti rdf troll at that, lemon created another alt. buh bye
I did make assumptions, but im dead serious on them, not trolling at all. I knwo you do not work and prolly have never worked.
you dont “deal” with efficiency in any line of work or even hobby. You either are efficient your you are not producing anything lol.
Anyway, owned etc blablbla go finish school then spend time in videogame forums.
So, it’s pretty much the same as a pug group in Classic.
And? This is also, at absolute worst, a tuning problem, even if you consider it a problem. Luckily, most people who are interested in dungeon crawling are also the kind of people who want to get to cap ASAP to experience the peak of their playstyle. The people who want to quest are, from what I’ve heard a hundred thousand times, the type of people who enjoy taking things slower. If one path is going to be better from a raw efficiency PoV it makes quite a lot of sense that it would be the route that caters to the people that are more likely to care about efficiency.
The game shouldn’t cater to the crowd that is hopelessly compelled to take the most efficient option despite actually wanting to slog through quests. Players should be expected to be an adult with a functioning frontal cortex.
This, exactly.
The first time around, Blizz decided to prioritize streamlined, low effort, low engagement progression above intrinsic gameplay value. After all, when playing for fun, a new game will eventually come along that is more fun and people may move on. Keeping a game fresh requires a lot of work, but if you can get people hooked on the psychological effects of progression, they will run the same content over and over without caring or even realizing how boring it has become.
When designing Cata, the leads thought they could undo some of the mistakes of Wrath by putting a bit of challenge back into five man content. But the masses had become soft, weak willed, and addicted to steady, low effort progression. So rather than risk snapping them out of their trances, they nerfed the content, and the retail path was set in stone.
And this means i either do them or i will be punishied by my time spent.
You know, like, the reasons some classes have terrible issues getting into groups? This is the reason.
Playstyle isnt playstyle if the gameplay punishs it, it only means you are being dumb and the correct way is the 80% faster and better way you can do solo queueing.
All you are saying is that they should never ever care about balancing efficiency so basically DPS/Hps shouldnt also matter o anythign at all because efficiency is a side plan lol.
Btw, if you are inefficient at your hobby quit it.
And yes i forgot to add, lack of efficiency is intrinsic to tuning if they tuned both properly then idc, thing is thats not what most here are talking about lol.
ive seen alot of these anti rdfers in game and in forum posts talking about using restedxp… so i tried the mod… it pretty much plays the game for you, i deleted the mod and swore off touching it ever again.
This is a good thing. New-Blizz killed the game they bought with the automated report function. I got reported for calling out Incomings in AB. You will be punished if you speak. The content of your speech doesn’t matter, what matters is if the guy right clicking your name has a bad day.
Perhaps true on your server, but I don’t want that antisocial disease to also infest grob.
I’m glad you’ve seen the correct path for the game now.
I’m not above saying and admitting I was wrong. The only way forward is to self correct when wrong, otherwise we cannot advance; held back by the error of our ways.
