It is a fact, not an opinion when you have a lot of exp/run by aoeing mobs plus exp bonus for doing it random RFD plus exp bonus for completing all bosses.
Like, it literally makes all other forms of leveling nothing more or less than just gimping yourself.
You can also complete an entire raid auto attacking this doesnt mean you are not gimping your damage into the ground.
Same applies when one source availabe by solo queue gives you 10x more exp/hour than the other solo option.
People always use this tactic of arguing. “You don’t have to use ____. That means ____ is fine.”
Options are good when they are somewhat equal in outcome. When one path is clearly superior, then it’s not really an option. It becomes the de facto method and everything else is… for lack of a better word - a mistake.
If you dont want to use RDF, don’t use it. Tell me how someone else using RDF will ruin the game for you? Oh, thats right, if RDF is implemented everyone is going to use it, because its a great feature and works and you will be left all alone to trying to force everyone to socialize on your bizarre terms. Thats why schlubs like you are so against it. You know once it drops its over for your weird little position.
if you WANT a harder levelling experience with more work involved, you have a CHOICE to do it yourself. dont punish other people and force them to play your way because you are so mentally unable to resist your urges to play with a far more efficient system.
I guarantee the majority of these fools that are anti-RDF are the exact same people that ask this question while they sit in a city or continue questing, making no effort to head to the dungeon (even if they’re in the same zone)
You guys are nuts You do not socialize in dung runs. There is no way in hell, you yourself could keep talking in party chart and Do even halfway decent dmg or healing with the speed im pulling these mobs. I did world tour yesterday with some pugs. Most that was said in group was by me… Each time after final boss died I said Next? Someone in group would name it. I would start flying or heading there. NOthing else said till final boss dead then i would say next?
You did a world tour with a fixed group of players from your server and traveled from dungeon to dungeon? Sounds great! Like the exact sort of thing that goes away over time in a game based on queues.
Not a single part of it social, didn’t know these kids before hand didn’t speak to them after or during , Maybe in your world that’s some awesome social abilities in mine its really not. RDF would have been the same . Cant argue about it.
no, he would have said next and they would have said. reque… and they would run another without the silent travel time between dungeons, try and understand what hes typing.
I dont really know how to be more obvious, but trying again, I dont want a harder experience, I want one with actual viable and balanced options. You on the other hand want only one actual viable option, want it to give more exp than all other forms and want it to be the easiest and more convenient one. You arent advocating for anything else.
The fact is it cant give abnormious amount of exp simple kills all other forms of leveling because its not only far more convenient and far easier, its by miles and miles far more efficient.
Also as a side note narrowing down mmos to a single unbalanced content is extremely boring and even bad for the game experience.
why will you not listen, what i WANT is options. the lfg tool limits those options where the rdf tool does not. anyone arguing against RDF is arguing AGAINST freedom of CHOICE. its simple.
I don’t believe even the developers think that people are having in depth conversations while doing these dungeons.
I think it’s more about forming groups, making friends lists, etc. Building a network of individuals to play with keeps the interest in the game. If people become another disposable asset, then the game becomes a lifeless and dull experience. (Like retail.)
The problem I see is that T7 is way too easy. People will get bored once they’ve maxed out their reps, farmed their BiS, etc. Wrath Classic should have been given a tune up in difficulty.
This describes large swaths of the Classic playerbase, not the retail one. Retail is objectively a more engaging game than Classic, even if Classic has other virtues.
