Normally, I’m a big fan of dungeons like BRD, Scholo, Strat, LBRS, Dire Maul. So I generally spend my last 10 levels or so just trying to do as many as I can before going to Outlands. I’ve been leveling a Prot Pally and when I hit 54 it was nice to see some of those dungeons open up in the LFG tool. So I listed myself while grinding mobs in Eastern Plaguelands.
I went from 54-58 grinding mobs, and never got a whisper or an invite for any of the dungeons. Decided to just go to Outlands so I can find some more mobs to grind. The only “community” interaction I had was with the random 60 mage that showed up and would tag the mobs I was rounding up before I could.
10/10 community interaction with the new LFG tool!
You’re not wrong, but it is just a tiny bit odd that you’re deciding to point it out for that poster. You know, while the anti-RDF crowd is openly and sadistically giddy and rubbing it in people’s faces that their hypocritical dream came true of the first massive change to the game being to specifically deny the largest and most positive QoL system the game has ever seen. Some of the most anti-social behavior I’ve seen (ironically from the group pretending to be proponents of socialness) and not a single peep from you, but here it’s suddenly all hands on deck.
Sounds like a great excuse to perpetuate negativity while feeling morally superior. Also using emoji’s to circumvent the language filter is no-bueno.
Instead of continuing a negative discourse, consider that one of the biggest anti-rdf posters is learning and adapting his previously held beliefs due to new experiences and ideas. They didn’t have to admit fault but they did. Attacking someone after they have made the mature step of admitting fault and growing as a person why not meet that with positivity instead?
Be better, be the bigger person.
in all reality were likely to see RDF regardless. If not that then some other form of the tool we have now.
There’s too much backlash to simply just ignore ALL of it. They’ll come up with something or another. Not saying it’ll be good or even in line with what people want lol but it’ll come.
But is he though? He’s only changing his position because right now the thing he wants to do is inconvenienced by not having RDF. He still doesn’t want RDF for other portions of the game, he just wants it for the specific thing that he wants to do.
That’s pretty much the same position that the anti-rdf crowd has always held, they don’t want rdf because they don’t like it/don’t need it, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.
Great standard to hold people to so long as you’re exercising even a modicum of triage and holding the worst transgressors accountable first, who are all acting out of pure malice rather than just not handling understandable exasperation in the best possible way.
