Its basically there to make or create an illusion that everything thats said is a joke ,i dont mind it but my sister hates that . She loves office and thats the only series that i saw her watching a cople times i mean after watching once .
I hate this show so much and it’s not because it’s unfunny but the entire thing is shot with shaky cam. I get motion sickness so I can’t watching something like that, which is frustrating because people always talk about how funny it is.
So maybe “hate” is too strong of a word. What I feel is “bitterness.”
That sucks man as the show is extremely funny . Well if somehow you are able to in future i m just going to warn you that its not for “woke” (?) crowd ,i mean it is funny as hell but if you get irritated or offended very quickly the show will seem bad . And i m saying this because there were plans to reboot office or something like it with same cast but michael (lol i dont even know his name ) said the times have changed or something like that .
Maybe it will be rebooted with no shaky cam
I doubt it but good luck
I think I really dislike being manipulated into what to think or feel. If it’s funny to me I’ll enjoy it but please don’t tell me I’m supposed to think it’s funny. Music meant to manipulate my emotions really bothers me also.
I went decades without paying much attention to it, but once you notice it, there’s no going back. Thankfully, hardly anyone use it nowadays.
And for those that don’t like the show, I get it, but it’s like a new generation of Seinfeld or Friends to me. I’m a fan of all 3 shows.
The point is the game itself has totally incomprehensible rules. That’s the point of the skit. So, of course there’s a comparison between it and WoW’s system design because noone outside of a handful of theorycrafters understands those either.
It’s like the humor equivalent of Heisenburg’s Uncertainty Principle. You can get that a thing is funny, You can know why it’s funny, or You can know absolutely everything about the nuts and bolts of the subject, but you can’t know all three and have it still be funny. That probably made no sense at all. Ah well, to quote Dennis Miller: “F*** it. Who wants Pie?”
Yeah. I noticed that. I’m currently giving the benefit of the doubt as to the OP using a phone and autocorrect.
Laugh tracks are part of how you distinguish true sitcoms from post-modern unfunny garbage like Modern Family and The Office.
The best had a live studio audience, e.g. All in the Family.
