Let’s say you’re in the Great Horse Tree. Where all the mommy horses, old people horses, and their baby horses live. Then some maniac orders her army to fire high explosives into the Great Horse Tree and you are given a timed quest to save 900 mommy horses, old people horses, and their baby horses. But no matter how fast you are you only end up saving around forty of them. The others burn to death around you Uncle Owen and Aunt Baru style in horrible agony. Then, the same maniac kills and then twists the sanity of the dead horses horse protectors bringing them back to a tortured existence as a mind addled undead horse slave.

That would be pretty sad right?

Yeah, this. I was on my Alliance warlock, aggro’d a boar so my blueberry was fighting it while 3 horsies ran by and got mixed up in the mess. Had to kill them all…was kinda sad but they dropped meaty haunches and I need those. So they didn’t die in vain.

Hate it when yellow named animals get accidental aggro, but that’s how it all works.

It’s a person. Versus a horse.

You’re going to justify it by who intended what and such? There’s something deeply wrong with that.

Look around and you see this everywhere in life. Humans have little to no respect for other humans. Human life is cheap, expendable, and not worth a second thought, right?

But horse life… let’s contemplate that in a thread. And digital horse life at that.

Alliance mounts are guilty by association. If the horse had any self respect it wouldn’t allow itself to be ridden by such contemptible vermin as Alliance characters. The guilty deserve to die.

Also, Dreadmoon needs more horse meat for her chili.

Ugh! I hate that too! At least when I’m on my hunter I can feign death and drop aggro. lol

Was recently doing an escort quest in Grizzly Hills on my shaman. Everytime we approached a bear I’d Hex it, so I didn’t have to kill it. By the time the Hex wore off, we were well clear of it attacking us. :sweat_smile:

While I do lose out on exp and drops, it’s fun to do things in a way where you take the least lives sometimes. :grinning:

We have cows who walk upright and joined the Horde. What makes you think the horses did not ask to be the guy’s mount?
