With total disregard for wow lore of which I know next to nothing anyway…
I always thought the entire ‘darkness warped shadow damage’ hero talents for hunters was an abomination. Dark ranger? As a hunter, abomination. As a ranged Assassin? Pure love. Make them a rogue spec, make them shadowy evil, and call it good. In an evil way.
Also make them playable by only the perfect races. So elves.
mm hunter can use guns and in the upcoming patch, blizz has removed pets from that spec.
Well… There is technically another gun using spec already, which I believe needs a rework… Outlaw could get a weapon change to using ranged Weapons, to fit a more Pirate/Gunslinger/Outlaw styled theme… Much like how Survival can technically use a Ranged Weapon (not the most effective, but usable, so the Artifact/Legendaries aren’t locked)…

I dont necessarily want a gun class but I would love a new physical ranged.
It could be glaives, spears, like a blow dart / sling shot situation.
Just something other than Hunter.

Lone Wolf is gone. Now you have a lazy hawk. From time to time it flies into the screen and either it hits the enemy once or it just screams, and then it goes back to wherever it likes to nap lol

The “eagle” is a spell effect and can easily be ignored. (At least I did on the PTR)

dragonhunter in GW2 was cool; longbow sans pet. they (guardian/paladin) also recently got those dual-wieldin’ pistols

That’d be nice. Especially with the gnome themed guns from the TP. I want to use them, but it feels weird with all the hunter specs and hero talent themes.
