I Want a Dragon-Focused Expansion!

True, it was. But I wasn’t around for Cata and they neutered dragons in that expansion. It would be nice to see them do more every once in awhile since their original purpose was to help protect the planet and it is still in danger. The introduction of Ebonhorn does make me hopeful they will do something else with them again though.

Wasn’t that Cataclysm?

I’m starting to doubt that actually, given what we know now and what we’ve gotten a glimpse of in cinematics.

I’m starting to believe he may be the MOST powerful of the old gods. I don’t think he even “needs” us to free him. What he needs from us is to WANT to free him, whether deliberately or not.

ill give you 3 letters “ESO”

Can never have enough dragons or dragon stories, imo!
:sparkles::dragon:

Who knows? I’m just guessing based off of what we’ve been told by Xal’atath. Though I think it would be extremely cool if N’zoth was actually a good guy in some way. But, it’s probably not going to end up being so.

I think it should be focused on the turtle guys.

I don’t think you’re far off base. Not that he’s good vs bad, but that our perception of what good and bad actually mean in our universe.

We’re starting to get glimpses that we may not have had it all figured out even though we thought we did. Just like IRL. lol

The dragons lost their power. We’re sadly done with them since Cata ended.

But Dragons are ancient beings, and they still do have knowledge of the Titans.

Still pissed about the dragons destined to all die off because the ‘no eggs’ lore. I hope they find a way to fix it. Otherwise I guess we gotta rely on my favorites, Storm Drakes, however I want more lore on those folk.

Classic was the dragon expac.
Nef, Ony, Azuregos, the Nightmare Dragons.
Burning Steppes was full of elite black dragons.
Eastern Wetlands (before Grim Batol was opened) was full of elite red dragons that hated you.
Dragons had presence, dragons were scary, and dragons would kill you easily when you were on your own in almost every case.

I remember the first time I went into Burning Steppes in Vanilla seeing it matched my level range (BC was like 2 weeks away) and I thought what the hell.

It was brutal.

They’re all powerless (kinda), not able to reproduce, and slowly going extinct by the minute.

I doubt this will happen anytime soon.

They’re mortal now. And even they didn’t know why they were empowered as aspects until they realized their full purpose. If a Titan returns to empower them again, or maybe if Azeroth does herself, they might flourish.

But right now… they’re going extinct.

Cata was more focused on them

There are millions of Twilight Dragon eggs underneath Grim Batol.

Right but Twilight dragons are corrupted, the non-corrupted dragons cannot lay eggs, according to the blue questline in Azsuna.

Hmm, I never noticed that.

No, Cataclysm was be Thrall’s butler and pop zits on Deathwing’s back.

It was hardly impactful. Wrath literally had a better dragon story than Cataclysm, which just had a bad story overall.

Yeah and those are corrupted Dragons.

If anything they will serve any related Old God thematic. Current dragons are going extinct. Cataclysm was the dragon expac, and it’s over.
