Back in pre-cataclysm I would escort two tourists at a time on my mammoth to the Ironforge Airfields for 50g a person
It was not much, but I made a humble living and was able to provide for my 3 children.
When Azeroth flying was introduced in Cataclysm, I lost everything
Tourists no longer wanted an escort to the Ironforge Airfields, they could “just fly there for free”
It was no longer about the journey, all people began to care about was fast tracking towards the final destination
What was once a feat of awe and wonder quickly transitoned into another blur into the landscape
Fast forward years later and I still find myself struggling. I spend 5 hours a day in the fields picking herbs to sell in the auction house, forced to sell at minimal prices due to competition from the botting population
Unable to afford tuition, my children now all attend Wrynn Community College, but that is okay. The education there is acreddited, and the Community College has transfer deals with other 4-year Universities with scholarship and full credit transfer opportunitiea
Or just have them pledge themselves to the Holy Light. Free education all we ask is that you travel to far-flung battlefields and smite the lights enemies for a few years.
Sheila intends to enroll in a Masters Program offered by Blackrock University for Burnout Counseling
She intends to treat disgruntled Tanks & Healers so they can eventually get back on their feet and get out in the world
Do either of these institutions offer courses in Discipline and Alchemy?
We were looking at Proudmoore College in Boralus, Tiragarde Sound. They offered Sheila a full ride scholarship but i’m worried about its “party school” reputation
With hard work and a polished application, maybe your kids can get into Dalaran U.
And by the way, don’t bother with Mechagon Tech. I hear it’s little more than a party school, these days.
Still a good idea to apply to some safety schools, though. You’ll call me a hippy for this, but Shattrath State is a great institution. The neighborhood isn’t rough like it used to be, and there are a lot of passionate faculty, like that low-poly model of Khadgar.
