Just like you said you were loving BFA when it got a 3.1 on metacritic. Itâs the same tired defense. You refuse to call a spade a spade. Itâs fine dude. I get it. Greentext. But we all love this game and benefit from it actually being good. So maybe they should actually make it good. And no, nobody actually likes these wqs. Donât act like itâs a matter of opinion. The maw is bad. Wqs are bad. The game feels bad. Will it get better? Hopefully with enough feedback. They have the power to make it feel really good. A lot of it boils down to rewards and time required to do the activity. These can be tweaked.
It is possible for them to fix SL to where it is great. But they need to tweak a lot.

I enjoyed BFA and I am enjoying Shadowlands 10fold.
I genuinely feel bad for people like yourself, who seemingly do not have any interest in enjoying the game, because this is really a spectacular expansion.
BFA was not.
I enjoyed it, but it was not good, especially in the opening weeks.
It got a LOT better by the end though, so I was quite happy with that.
Shadowlands has started out amazing though, and if you are the kind of person to quit the game 7 days in, why even BOTHER doing those things?
World quests are not even needed for anything this expansion.
Even the Maw you could skip and likely never feel like you missed anything.

Well, at least you decided to walk away from it when you donât enjoy it. Hopefully you actually move on and donât turn into one of the bitter forum phantoms that haunt this place, trying to share their dramatic woe with everyone.

Tell me this. Are you actually enjoying the new wqs? Donât you think they would be a LoT better if they took maybe 50% less time to do and we got flight whistles back?
BFA had enjoyable moments for me too. As I said, the raids were amazing. I really enjoyed the fights. I thought the dungeons were cool, but lacked replayability. The music was good too. Overall, BFA just didnât feel rewarding to play.
They really need to change the reward structures for the game.
Rhe current reward structure and endgame loop of SL is very boring and tedious. Most will hate it.

Yes, I am enjoying many of them.
The ones I donât enjoy I donât do.
I have never loved World Quests though, and donât go out of my way to do things I donât want to do.
The flight whistle is missed for sure, but if you know me, you would know I am all for making travel and the world as important as possible, so its one of those things that I dislike as a person, but love as a fan of the game.
None of the world quests take me any significant amount of time though, so a 50 percent reduction would be making them take like 2 minutes or something silly.
Not everyone is going to like it. Thatâs on you and your tastes. Plenty of people are loving it. To me, itâs a great expansion. Iâm sorry you canât find enjoyment here.
It seems like, for a lot of people, every new expansion is always going to be the worst one theyâve played. I always wonder why folks continue buying them.
I see this every expansion soooo⌠probably not. I feel like a week isnât enough time to give a new expansion but okay

They do take a long time. Maybe you havenât done the bad ones yet. They are considerably worse than past versions. Also keep in mind the travel time.
Sorry you didnât like it, Iâve only just gotten in maldrax but I really am enjoying myself way more than I did in bfa. You mentioned the story and really this is the best story Iâve seen since WoD. Also the zones are beautiful. Legion was cool because of the class halls but beyond that I didnât care for the story and then there was bfa which I didnât enjoy at all. Shadowlands storytelling reminds me of warlords so far, and warlords had amazing leveling experience!
Hope you find something better to play and enjoy.

Right, if they didnât offer me any rewards and werenât fun, I wouldnât do them, so the problem solves itself.
I have done quite a few of them with alts in Threads of Fate though. Other than me not understanding what to do, they donât seem any longer than any other expansionâs.
Aside from the treasures and stuff that are now marked on our maps, I donât feel as though the WQs are really new. Theyâre not new, per-se, compared to Legion and BfA WQs.
I feel as though theyâre difficult to love as a concept, but thatâs because theyâre just mindless dailies as always. WQs, as a whole, are just daily quests.
They donât really take that long and I fail to see how 15-20 minutes of time (usually much less) to finish some âfill the barâ quests are so awful.
Most of them take me about 10 minutes, if even that.
At the end of the day, you donât have to do them all. I donât. I do the ones I feel the need to do, then move on to the content I really enjoy and genuinely want to do.
Iâm having fun and I always enjoy raiding. I will agree I dont overly see why people love torghast because itâs really just endless trash and if you lose itâs kind of a horrible feeling of wasting so much time. I enjoy it more with other people, so at least you dont have to do it solo. I think it would be better with less floors personally but Iâm glad so many people enjoy it. Some of the abilities are pretty fun. I dont mind doing it but I cant see myself doing it more than I need to.
