Agree with all the above. The storyline and questing is far better organized than BFA was. The zones are beautifully done and I’ve loved the few dungeons that I have done so far. I just hit 60 so I can’t comment on the endgame stuff.
I honestly don’t know. If so then I think they should reconsider. I want to see Torghast succeed. I want it to become a permanent reused feature in the game. It’s scalable from solo to 5man and I think the game really needs something like it.
I’d love it if Torghast became an alternate way to level in the future as well.
Ok it is universally better to make things less of a chore. It won’t hurt you. Even if you like it now. You will still like it after.
I want all your gold.
Well at any rate, I am progressing at my own pace. Hell, I haven’t even gone back to Torghast yet to complete the quest from Bovar (Crispy).
I am enjoying the game thus far minus one part. I guess I got spoiled on the BFA wq thing. Because I am really not enjoying the wq in SL.
Sorry if this has already been said, but the RNG problem could all be solved with a currency you get from dungeons, that system worked from what, BC through to was is MoP or WoD. It not only made dungeons relevant longer, but also, even if you didn’t get any drops, you still made progress towards an upgrade of some kind.
I hope so right now I’m in the training academy thing with the blue angel people and I find myself struggling to stay awake and play. The storyline is not engaging and feels bland. I’m all about good story lines even BFA was better than this.
Often someone unsubs but still has days to months they already paid for, obviously. Blizzard doesn’t refund what you paid for already, so unsubbing just means future payments cancelled.
Same. I have 6 days left on my sub. I won’t say this is the worst xpac yet because I didn’t play much after MOP. Either way the idea of taking daily chores well beyond the dailies of TBC doesn’t interest me. Overly linear leveling and multiple system grinds isn’t my thing.
Torghast SUCKS
I hope you find happiness wherever you end up, and I’m sorry it didn’t work out.
Good luck!
imagine being such a sad loser you report my post
You would have quit anyway honestly. What exactly would get you to stay
Oh no? Guys Tuiie is leaving… not being rude but no one cares. I liken post like this to children throwing fits to get attention. Soooo stop holding your breath, if your going to go… you know where the door is. Its unlocked so you can always come back.
Some people man…
You have to first offer something of value for it to be valued by others.
Ralph, dat you?
I have quite a bit of sub time left. So, I guess we’ll see if things improve as the expansion progresses.
Unfortunately, I agree in a sense…that I really have no similar feelings or sentimentality for SL as I did for previous expansion intros.
The questing/storylines didn’t have the same impact/feel as previous expansions for me. The systems we already have are underwhelming and not something I feel motivation for. The zones, though beautiful, still are underwhelming and feel rushed/unfinished.
Ultimately, I feel like the launch of SL was a badly misplaced patch to BFA…but with really too many themes/angles that are either contradictory, repeats, or have very bad blending to make them cohesive together. I do like several of the dungeons.
I truly loved Legion and I really enjoyed many aspects, especially the start, of BFA. Most of my issues in BFA came towards the later portion of the expansion.
I’m not entirely sure if part of my apathy to SL is due to the way BFA ended and the issues/poor communication surrounding SL.
All in all, I can see myself not renewing when it comes time…and I do think a break might be good to focus on other games. Playing any mmo nonstop for years I feel like can take a toll sometimes.
Depends what you mean by “less of a chore.”
I find most people mean “these take too long.”
I certainly will not agree that just making everything easier and take less time SEVEN DAYS into a 2 year power curve would be universally good for the game.
But I do agree that some of these quests were just not well thought out.
Sadly, this sort of thing takes development time and is unlikely to change once its out.
Instead, the player should just avoid the things they dislike, and attempt to give feedback during development to help elucidate issues with content.
Doing so after is what most people do instead, but its too late to expect change now.
So it will be best to just solve your own problem here, either by avoiding the content, or participating more actively in these discussions when they are open for change.
bye do give me some gold, I need to get ready for raid in few weeks.
