I think WoW need easier max ilv gear

Do you ever get tired of being wrong? I doubt it.

I can see the power increase in the speed that I kill things. Not rocket science.

Then gear from vendor approach would suit you just as fine. Buy best items from a vendor. No reqs. for copper.

Or I can do what Blizzard has provided me to do in order to get high heroic track gear.

People like you can like it or lump it.

this from you is abjectly hilarious. go watch more alex jones, kiddo

wholeheartedly agree. also stops guilds pressuring people to do content they abhor to keep up

They should make more evergreen gear.

I think you mean wow needs more accessible max ilvl gear, rather than easier.

The “sitting in timeout for weekly lootbox” or “oops my raid lockout is burned by another player out of my control, gg this week” are reasons a lot of us don’t engage with current content or anything remotely hard. It’s not meaningful or actual progression to deal with those garbage systems.

If you want people to keep playing, you need to keep it as a grind that affords real agency over your own progression, not this one shot of weekly rng you don’t control in reality (While it pretends it does). I recommended a while back swapping the quantity timegate aka loot lockouts for ilvl quality lockouts instead, so people have a reason to keep coming back every week, and so people can’t p2w card swipe pay for loot funnels to finish gearing on week 1.

Its a catch 22. You can not remove the current grind without replacing it with another.

The problem is it’s not meaningful progression to play the weekly timegate gear drops. They’ve already lost countless players who realized not having agency over your progression is hot trash.

They can keep the timegates, but change it into an ilvl cap of gear drops themselves, rather than as a loot lockout. Raise the max ilvl of drops every week. This way RWF lasts more than 1 week and lower modes stay relevant for longer, while providing catchup naturally via increasing ilvl cap every week.

Who is going to do this exactly… the people running 12s?

The group your talking about seems nonexistant

But your philosophy is number go up is always good. Blizz simply moved best gear to vendors upon hitting max lvl.

Or have you shifted to pretended to somewhat care about the reward curve?

It’s not even that, blizzard could simply reformulate the timegate itself from quantity to ilvl, so people don’t get pissed off from being put in loot timeout and burned from the inability to play around the bad rng that occurs once every week on a schedule.

They aren’t even trying to even alter how they implement the timegate in of itself, as it could be done way better than currently.

You don’t want to see solo/casual players get high rewards.

Time for honoring your preferred playstyle are at an end (for those that don’t want to do group content)…highness.

Why would I want to have my gear not usable at full power until after a completely arbitrary time limit?

And, I still have to get said gear so that I have it when it starts being useful? That’s just absurd and stupid.

I’m proposing pretty much removing the need to acquire gear from the game. Everyone has the best reward.

Kinda like Hpellipsis’s stance.

No, you’d have to refarm it. ilvl won’t magically go up every week on existing gear. That is a silly idea.

Keep easier game modes like normal raids and normal/heroic dungeons relevant for longer the first month of release.

That’s an asinine stance.

That sounds… horrible.

Worst implementation of WOW gear system yet.
