I’m going to check Dresden Files out now. I liked reading about the Cait Sith, Beansidhe, and Changlings. So cool. I love mythology in general, but Celtic, Norse, and Egyptian are my favorites.

Not sure what my main is going for. For my alts i already know which covenant they are getting… for my main i will have to wait. I will decide after i played through all four covenants. The one i liked the most is my choice, don’t care about the covenant ability.
Maldraxxus got the best mogs and mounts.

Their mogs are fantastic, and they have some very neat lore.
I know that Butcher makes prodigious use of tabletop ideas when writing his books. He’s said before that he has stat sheets for every major character to help keep them within reasonable power levels relative to each other.
I run a D&D 5E campaign in which I’m making heavy involvement of the Fae, though it takes some invention since 5E doesn’t have a whole lot pre-written for them. It’s gone well… so far 
You should! They’re fantastic books, and they cover a huge range of mythologies and themes.

Well if what I heard is true Alliance get vampires and angels. Horde get nightfae and necrolords. But it’s all really unconfirmed rn.

All we have is some loosely associated banner file names. Personally I find it highly unlikely any of the Covenant races will be playable, or associated with either faction.

Yes and under that as well Tuskar were joining the Alliance which clearly wouldn’t make sense.
ID’s don’t mean anything at all really. If the ID’s are correct then the Alliance get Tuskar.
Word on the street is that they’ll be Neutral.

That’s kind of what I’ve been saying. I think that the new AR will be connected to Covenants at least loosely.
Indeed it would. Although I do believe Zandalari are great, I’m going to have to throw my hat in with the Kyrian.
I want to play one so badly.

It could also be nothing more than “they’re getting a Race label because we can more easily, in the database, attach player gear to them”
Besides, Blizzard has at times purposely put stuff in that was false, just to mess with dataminers.

It’s not “banner file names.”
It’s the fact that they are all display IDs for 4 new Allied Races.
And to address what I bolded, in all likelihood these races will be Neutral.
Judging from the looks alone, I’m totally going with night fae/fauns. Kyrian looks cool too
