I think Going forward Blizzards needs to

Give us a new type of grind every patch.

Islands are boring. Emissaries are boring.

Give us a new way to grind AP or whatever the new resource going forward will be every patch so we dont end up hating islands a year in…

Give us at least 2 new dungeons each patch. If you have to limit the dungeons we get at the start so be it… dont let dungeons get stale.

Add some type of weekly affix to raid. I think it would add to the challenge.

thoughts?

I think people will still complain. They forget that MMO’s have always been grindy, and they don’t want to have to work for anything.

But as much as it saddens me, I think the age of the MMO is slowly dying out. Which really does make me sad because its being replaced by shooters and MOBAs, and I really don’t like those lol

No more ap. Please, no. Timegating skills and effects your class is balanced on makes for wonky 3/4 of the expansion.

Grinding needs to take a break for an expansion or two. They are burning out the customers they have already with it.

or how bout they give us content that is geared toward being enjoyable.

AP is the worst thing to happen to this game and all but killed viable alts.

No to both. Dungeons take a ton of dev time.

hire a whole new development team that is as passionate about WoW as the former people and not just lets get maximum profit for minimum work and content just to appease the shareholders

not what classic wow is showing currently… MMO’s are good, just need the right type of MMO’s.

That’s why i said limit them at the start. Instead of giving us like 10 dungeons at the start of the xpac and then another 3 throughout the expansion… give us 6 at the start and like 2-3 each patch. This will spread the content out so that dungeon burnout doesn’t happen as fast. Like… I am so bored of the dungeons we have now that M+ is becoming less and less enjoyable.

Also this xpac sucks because in legion by this time we had cathedral, and upper lower kara as new dungeons. and then we got the one on Argus… i think right now in BFA we will only have mechagon…IF they make it mythic +.

grinding will always be a thing in an MMO RPG game, what makes the difference is how the grinding is managed, when questing is fun and you are injoying your game play you wont notice the grind as much. When its doing boring wqs to farm rep and AP to progress and unlock things that are locked for the sake of “spanning out the story or what ever else” its boring and feels like work, no one plays a game because it feels like “Work”… There has to be a degree of fun and enjoyment and simply bfa failed in this reguard.

first thing i’d do is swap writers out cause oof this was a rough one. No ones real happy with the story given to us. To see wow go forward towards a positive future i really do believe Nzoth should win at the end of this expansion and we get the Dark Empire as next expact, from there we can move on to void lords after we delt with all the re risin old gods (this…would take time).

I miss the amount of AP dungeons used to give you in Legion…I didn’t need islands or emisaries to complete my grind  I literally just did m+ and raids. Wish I could still do that and keep up.

I don’t mind islands and emissaries and I have probably done more than most people at least the emissaries since I have 15 max level characters and the majority of them have most of the BfA reps exalted.

I think islands would be better if they gave more coins and the vendor sold the whole loot table not just a handful of things. Maybe keep 1 or 2 mounts as rare drops.

If you had a cathedral key it was considered a dead key unless it was very low. Kara was also very painful to run on Mythic Plus.

Also if WOD taught us anything having less dungeons at the start is never a good thing either
