It’s why on launch I won’t select the “obvious” powerhouse. Because within the first 4-6 weeks there will be a large number of buffs and nerfs to ALL the covenants. Because someone will find a way to take an innocent ability, and do things that were NOT intended.
You KNOW it’ll happen.
So I’ll choose the Covenants that I feel are thematically appropriate.
Also, throughout the entire expansion, they’ll constantly be nerfing and buffing Covenants. Now if I see two patches in a row where they Nerf Kyrian (For example) then yeah … its probably a good idea for that character to DROP Kyrian as its not likely things will recover.
But nerfs and buffs … they’ll come and go. Just like always. And so long as I don’t see a pattern of excessive Nerfs to a Covenant … while others are switching with the latest set of buffs, I’ll be pushing to the higher levels of Soulbinds and all that.
