So you already knew he was an addict and you enabled his gaming habit… this ones on you.
You can believe me or not but it’s reality.
If this forums allowed images i would show you screenshots.
I guess you could look at previous post and see i literally post nothing of this fashion.
Mmmhmmm.

At least with a WoW addiction, his mother knew where his brother was at night. And I don’t think anybody ever died using an adulterated WoW client.
I don’t think his WoW time is the problem.
I hear you. My point is not about him dying though, it’s about him losing his job due to an addiction.
He was just scheduled and kept calling in so they let him go.
I personally took a week off from work to play classic. I suggested the same to my brother but he assured me he would just work and play classic .
I think you should feel bad. You really should have known what your brother was like.
Especially after this.
I actually can see it happening given the amount of time some people who WORK in my guild are on all hours of the day.
Yeah, he definitely got fired for failing a drug test. OP, I think your mom is in denial about what’s really happening.
No he sold his previous PC for drug money.
Oh, that’s rough buddy.
Because this TOTALLY happened.
I don’t really doubt it happening. Hell, I was having fun doing Mythic+ with my brother about a month ago. That is until one of his guildmates mentioned in VC, “damn dude, you’re going to be late for work again? Good performance isn’t going to keep carrying you.” Once my brother logged, I asked that guildmate for more information and found out he had been late for work since I started running them with him. Stopped running Mythic+ with him after that. So yeah, these situations do happen.
Immaturity is immaturity.
Totally fake scenario.
My Mom : "When you sold that computer to Carlo he lost his job because he can’t get off the game and work. He cares more about the game than being responsible. Been lying to me all week. I’m so p***sed at him. "
I missed these “WoW ruined my life” stories ![]()

Used to have a brother-in-law like this. Guy could barely hold down a job and spent his days drinking himself away at his mom and stepfather’s house. He clearly had problems but the biggest problem was his parents’ enabling attitude.

It’s depressing to see, especially when you want to help, but you have your own life to prioritize.

Obviously not a WoW thing, so you aren’t going to get much if any help in this forum. Your brother needs help and perhaps a crash that he is going through is a good thing in the end.

Quite depressing, yeah. But one of the things everyone has to learn as they get older is that toxic people will destroy those around them well before they pull themselves up from their own issues. Often it’s best for them to hit rock bottom on their own and then put their life back together fresh.
Sounds like he has a problem and it isn’t the video game to blame.

lol, there was one just two posts above this post of yours.
If he was a normal person. You would not be responsible in the least. But in this case it seems he had giant red flags surrounding him that you knew about. So yes OP I think you have some responsibility (not all). You should have kept him away from addictive things.
