I didn’t learn about the Recycling Depot until 2 days in, so I missed out on 300 Rep, and I didn’t bother with the repeatable daily fish, so that’s easily 1750 rep I missed out on.

I could have had flying today if I had done the repeatable fish, but I didn’t care THAT much to deal with the rare fish. It took me 300+ casts to catch ONE Shadowy Cave Eel, I wasn’t going to go through that every single day.

If I were human still (I race changed a while ago), I’d have flying already. But I will have flying tomorrow regardless, even if I have to do the repeatable rare fish, cause I’m not doing more Nazjatar dailies without it.

That isn’t 1k guaranteed rep - you need to get lucky with drops.

That’s how these things work. “Secret information” goes to a favored few who essentially exploit it while others have no idea how they are getting ahead.

Then it is nerfed into the ground to keep regular players from using these methods.

I expected it to happen a week or two after max level. We don’t always get what we want or deserve. We are at the whim of a developer’s personal opinion on this one. Too bad they don’t consider the customer’s view on matters like this. It never would have been an issue if they did not lie about it in WoD and get hurt feelings about having to give it back to us. Now because of them being hurt, our flying is taken away and not given back to us until way too late in the xpac and we have to grind in order to get it back. Too bad they still sell flying mounts in the store that forget how to fly!!!

Some days I wish they’d remove flying totally so people like you would quit.

I expected people to be flying on Friday. I used to know people who would easily play 36 to 48 hours straight. Then, of course, they’d be gone for a week or month.

I wish they would as well in fact (totally remove flying) and I am a strong supporter of flying being obtainable right at max level or within one month of hitting max level.

I would love to see if this game actually could survive with blizzard being straight forward and honest about it, instead of the deceptive practises they have been engaging in, one being taking longer and longer to put flying in each expansion. And then locking it behind some of the worse zones ever created.

Agreed with some, nice that some people have flying, the young or unemployed really stand out here, streamers i can see, because it’s their job, i’m personally only half way there, even if i knew about some of the extra rep and secret quests, no way i have time to do all that with a job and family, i only have about 2-3 hours to burn daily these days. Congrats to the ones that have no responsibilities in life though lol

Yeah 1-2 weeks a month for most. Considering I have 2 max pets. I have skipped 2 days maybe more. RL gets in way. Oh well. Just a friggin game. I get their when I get there no fret. Going forward I’m leveling pets for pet battles for rep and WQ and weekly. About time for me. Geez.

It is not that limited, but you have you to spend an obscene amount of time ingame to get that much rep so fast.

I love the mad dash to get flying as soon as humanly possible. Like, what is that about? It only takes revered in the first place - so even the most casual quester will have it in 3 weeks.

Why the big rush? So you can fly around the area you don’t need to go to anymore? Lol

No, that’s about right, maybe overestimating the time even. I have mine halfway or more, and I’ve never done all dailies, and have even skipped a day or two of dailies. It only requires revered. That’s easy to hit.

I am halfway now at Honored. And I am not a hardcore. There would be somebody in there who would be faster than me.

I am super casual, log in for 30 minutes during the week, missed one day of daily’s and will finish flying by the end of the week or Saturday for the latest. I did not do anything other than the quests in the zones and all Pet Battles in Mechagon. In Nazjatar I only did a few pet battles.
