I saw my first forum person out in the wild!

It’s okay. I didn’t meanto come across as if I was upset with you. I wasn’t. I’m sorry too.

Ladies and gents, world of peacecraft

I LOVE YOU ALL! :two_hearts:

We should have like a secret buzz word when listing our m+ keys on group finder so we know it is a WoW GD forum person and we get to play with them.

Sometimes they can be rehabilitated and released into the wild, but it’s pretty rare.

I actually had someone today. I was working on Miree here and someone waved and said something like “Hey Miree I saw you on the forum” or something like that. Unfortunately my internet took a dive, I froze then got disconnected before I could reply. /sigh

I don’t remember who it was either. My apologies if you are out there. waves back…

I was really surprised too as I don’t post often and am definitely not a “popular/frequent forum person.” lol

I keep running into Peppermint wherever I go.

I’m in a guild with someone who posts semi-frequently on the forums.

…But on my Druid.

:male_detective:

Crug is on Wyrmrest Accord with me. We’re battletag buddies. We randomly decided to put together a raid on the Alliance capitals one night.

But then he changed from an Orc Warrior into a Demon Hunter of the same name, though…and suddenly the whole honorable “Me Orc ophaned warrior for Horde” thing lost it’s pizzazz.

He hasn’t been online though in about 6 weeks or more.

I saw Shreds one time standing at the safety zone in the Maw one time. I said, “Hello, I recognize you from the forums!” which I was pretty certain of since it was a Blood Elf Demon Hunter from Wyrmrest Accord, so that kinda narrows it down.

Shreds took a while to respond but some minutes later they said something like “Nah, you have me confused.” and then proceeded to log off…

I think I saw the Shaman named Kissmytotems several months ago in a Timewalking Cata dungeon and I said hey but it might not have been the same Shaman named Kissmytotems because they told me they don’t use the forums.

I used to see Kefka(the famous Belf Rogue that trolled /2 chat) but he’s been gone a while.

Also, Luminaru(used to be really popular back in the Tank forums before those got removed), used to talk to in game a lot.

I’m kind of oblivious when I play though. I don’t even have bars for other players except when in combat, so unless I just happen to stop and notice I will rarely see someone.

My Paladin, Golgamyth, still gets recognized. Golga got pretty popular in the Tank Role forums back in MoP and EoD before they were removed.

I just decided to start posting on this toon, ‘Brujha’ when I came back to play again in BFA. I use this toon because it was the one that was logged into the forums for whatever reason.

My DK, Life, to this day, gets hate mail on BH from some randomly generated orc name. I find it funny getting tirades that have progressively gotten more eloquent as time progresses, and they’re honestly a joy to read.

I’ve also randomly been spit on before the great emote purge, but I can’t equate that entirely to forum shenanigans, as I often do in-game shenanigans to match.

I used to get recognized quite a bit before I quit playing this character and took a break from the forums.

Would get messages occasionally along the lines of “Viking Santa?”

I’d offer them a pint most of the time.

I’ve actually encountered quite a few of you in-game. But you’d never guess it was me :smiling_imp:

I’ve seen Moob. I’ve seen Battlemaster in The Maw at the start of 9.1. I’ve killed Crug in Stormwind.

I keep running into Thallia too. She’s so obnoxious. I really need to block her.
